Fit is the only word that someone could use to describe Aloy. There isn't much extra fat on her body at all. Every bit of her is lean, sinuous muscle. She isn't super slim, but every ounce of her body weight is accounted for in muscle, as there is no way at all she could ever be considered "fat". She is surprisingly nimble too, with long fingers, and thick muscular thighs and arms that allow her to climb easily. Her skin is pale, even despite her time in the sun and is dusted with a light layer of freckles. Her expressive eyes are hazel and her hair is a ruddy red color. It's quite long and thick, but she usually wears it back, fixed into tightly woven braids that run down her back and shoulders.

Aloy's dress is distinct. She's usually clad in leather crafted by herself and her father. Some of it can get quite elaborate. The girl delights in crafting leather armor, and will even make it for others if asked. She has leathers for every different occasion. Rarely, she'll dress down to just cloth clothing. She isn't one for dresses. At all. Mostly trousers and light shirts.

PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY: Some will describe Aloy as brave, some will describe her as foolish and reckless. All of this is true. A kind soul, Aloy truly just wants to help anyone she can, though sometimes she'll go about the wrong ways to achieve this. She hates to see anyone hurt, and will usually do whatever she can to help. Most of the time, she'll go out of her way to help someone, which can cause problems in other areas of her life. She's benevolent, and especially wishes to help those who are weakest or less fortunate.

She is fearless and determined, and, in her youthful foolishness, has a false sense of invincibility. She realizes that she can get hurt...has even, she just doesn't seem to think anything too terrible will ever happen to her. She's confidant in her own abilities, almost to a fault. Often extremely reckless, she'll be the first one to rush in if someone needs saving. Whether it's for the safety of the one being saved or for the rush of it, no one's telling. But it is very telling how easily she rushes in even when someone's life isn't on the line. She doesn't seem to value her own safety very highly as her sense of self preservation is quite low. But she is strong, physically and emotionally, and has an inner fire that can't be denied.

Aloy is defiant, the very first to question tradition. If she doesn't understand why she has to do something, she likely won't. She's extremely logical and curious. Often wanting to know how everything works. She just likes knowing things, and feels very uncomfortable when she doesn't. She is often butting heads with authority, wanting to do things her own way. The concept of having to follow the rules is something that boggles her mind. If she can see a smarter or quicker way of doing something, she'll want to do it. She's also skeptical of harper stories and people's superstitions, often openly mocking them as being silly or not making sense.

She doesn't have the best people skills, never quite knowing what to say to someone. She's extremely opinionated and blunt, not afraid of telling someone what she thinks, even when it isn't the wisest course of action. She isn't afraid of hurting people's feelings, though she doesn't actively seek to do so. She highly dislikes people who think they're better than other people, especially those who have no way to back it up or those who look down upon other simply because of the station of their birth. Aloy will be the first to knock them down a peg or two.
HISTORY
FAMILY: Father; Carson (deceased)
Mother; Elisabet (deceased)
Adoptive father; Rost
SIGNIFICANT OTHER: none
BIRTHPLACE: Hold Gar Cothold

TW: Death
HISTORY: Aloy was born in a very small cothold near Hold gar, a small hold beholden to Fort Weyr. She never knew her parents. She was born during a particularly brutal winter, a winter that killed both of her parents. They had been prepared for the winter, but not a winter this cold, not when they were about to have a child. Luckily for baby Aloy, she was found before she, too, succumbed to the cold. A holdless man named Rost, exiled from nearby Southern Boll hold, followed the sounds of the crying child to her chill form. He took her to the warmth of his cave. He thought about returning her to the larger Hold. There would surely be someone to take her in there. The life of a holdless was not a good life for a child. But Rost was lonely, and he was doing fairly well for being holdless.

So against his better judgement, he decided to raise the girl. She grew up thinking of Rost as her father, though he always made sure she knew that she wasn't his biological father; that her biological parents had died. It hurt her when she was old enough to understand, but she came to terms with knowledge in time. She was far too busy from a young age to dwell on her own sadness. Rost began to teach the girl early, teaching her everything a young holdless child would need to know. He taught her to hunt and to track, to fight with dagger and spear. He taught Aloy about herbs; which she could eat and which she could not. Which were medicinal and which were poisonous. He taught her to craft crude but effective weapons, and he started to teach her how to craft her own armor.

This was what Aloy excelled at the most. She started making very simple armor which wasn't much more than passable, but when she realized that she could add her own touches to the armor and learned how to make better armor, she was making more and more. She loved making herself elaborate armor and then dying it with plant based dyes to make it feel more her own.

In time, the child grew proficient at the things Rost was teaching her. She would never be the best at any of it, obviously, but she could hunt and track with a great degree of success, she could survive in the wilds by herself for a while. She had even gotten to the point, as she grew, where she'd be gone for several days at a time, using the craggy rocks around them for shelter in times of thread.

One day though, when she was an adult, she came back from a hunting trip to find Rost gone. Confused and alarmed, she waited at their home for several days, but he hadn't returned. This was highly unusual. She was the one who'd be gone for days, what with her youthful wanderlust, not the old man. She left to look for him. She'd often asked him why he'd been exiled from the hold, but he'd never told her. Maybe he'd gone back.

She found him not too far from their cave, mauled by...something. From the bites and scratches, she could tell that it was likely some kind of wher that'd done it...a large wher. Beset by her own grief, she didn't think about the fact that Rost was likely already gone. She bundled him up, constructed a stretcher out of branches, leaves, and whatever else she could find, and dragged him all the way to the nearest hold, Pierie Hold. It was there that a healer looked over him and told the girl that he was already dead. Filled with anger and grief, she made to leave the hold, but the healers convinced her to stay, at least until the grief had passed and she could accumulate some supplies.

Three days into her stay and Aloy was getting antsy. She wanted to go. That was when a Fort Weyr searchrider came to find candidates. The girl knew of dragons, she'd even seen some from afar, and Rost had explained the search process to her. But she wasn't prepared for it to happen to her. The dragon offered her a new life, and though she wanted to go back out, what kind life would she have on her own? She agreed almost immediately, and accompanied the dragon and other candidates back to the weyr.

What type of candidate is your character: Dual

What color/s are you willing to impress to?: ANY colors, and I mean any
What color/s does your character want?: She doesn't care
Do you/your character have any personality preferences or concerns?: Nothing that'd try and change who she is or protect her like she's some flower. She needs a dragon who considers her a capable equal, not one who thinks she's weaker because of who she is.
Do you/your character have any other preferences or concerns?: Nope
Why do you think these choice/s would be a good fit?: Because Aloy is a strong independant woman who don't need no man (but male dragons are just as welcome as females okay)

Do you have any preferences about the conditions of your character’s impression?: TRAUMA AND MAULING. BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GODS.
Are you alright with your character getting hurt? What injury level is acceptable/what should be avoided?: ABSOLUTELY 100 PERCENT PLEASE. Anything short of death is encouraged.

Is there anything you will ABSOLUTELY NOT accept?: Nope!
