Fate of Our Pern is an AU 3rd Pass Dragonriders of Pern RPG. Set in the formerly named Fort Weyr, now renamed Hanrahan Weyr, Pern is facing a multitude of natural disasters - from an endless fall of Black Dust, to an increase in Threadfall at night, their days being shortened thanks to the Black Dust, and now an illness spreading throughout the dragonkin. Whers have either died off or turned feral, their handlers unsure of what has happened, and now Ista has claimed they have discovered a Thread and Black Dust free land - the Southern Continent.
Benden is suddenly lost in Month 2 of 539 due to a massive Black Dust Storm that has blanketed itself over the eastern Weyr. They have lost many, even their current leaders, and now some of the healthy riders and families are seeking refugee at Hanrahan.
