FULL APPEARANCE:
Ryne is a petite young woman, standing at 5'9" with a thinner and more slender frame. She has long strawberry blonde hair and pale blue eyes. She tends to dress in earth tones, with the exception of the one white dress she owns and wears for special occasions. She often has a quiet but warm smile on her face.
She prefers skirts to breeches but often wears the latter because of practicality, though she sometimes feels such clothing would make it hard to tell she was a female if not for her long hair. Fond of pastels when she can obtain the material, she often changes the color of the ribbon she wears based on what she can obtain or to match a particular outfit she is wearing.

PERSONALITY:
Ryne is a very caring and warm person that enjoys trying to help others around her that need it and provide them comfort, even to the detriment of her own self. She enjoys speaking with others and socializing, she occasionally gets plagued by a lack of self worth and sporadic bouts of shyness. She often also worries if she is capable of doing what she dreams and her own sense of worth is often questioned internally and it leads to bouts of anxiety about her place in the world.
Despite these things, she continues to soldier on, determined to impress and hoping she does not age out. She enjoys learning about medicine and everything about Dragons she can get her hands on. When she is stuck by her bouts of insecurity, learning is what she turns to for solace, unless she is lucky enough to have a friend with a ear to lend to her woes.
Being an observant person, she is often able to read a room well and sometimes this extends to people, as she gets to know someone and can eventually pick up on any tells they extend, as she invests herself deeply in their wellbeing.

Rynenari, or Ryne to those close to her was a bright young child, not unlike most others but her quiet and warm personality made it easy for her to make friends, even if she was still somewhat shy about talking about herself and her interests. Her parents were riders but not as involved in her life as she would have wished them to be.
As she grew, she became fascinated with the medical sciences and treating wounds. While she was not really looking to be a healer of sorts, she did appreciate what they would deal with and liked the idea of helping others very keenly. She also around age 10 began to develop a fascination with Dragons and the care and raising of them. This might be attributed to her parents both being riders but Ryne would disagree, as she felt her interest was purely her own entity.
So when the opportunity presented itself, she chose to become a candidate. From the start, she had decided that she wanted to do thing During that time, she attended her first Standing and was not chosen.
At first this did not phase her, as she had early on been warned of such things from some of the other people she had spoken to. She was disappointed however that neither of her parents were in attendance for any of her standings. Accepting this was just how things were, she confided in her cousin Minfilia about how she felt a bit down about not impressing after several tries, and how worried she was that she would age out.
At the Kingdom's Edge clutch, Green Iseleth hatched and there was no guessing, no fanfare, no anxiety. The dragonet knew exact who she wanted... and it was Ryne. After an emotional moment of feeling she finally was a true weyrling, she gathered her new bonded and left the candidate line, the walk to the weyrling side and feeding buckets was the greatest feeling in her life and nothing was greater to her.. except the fact her friends and her beloved brother were there to share in her moment.
