FULL APPEARANCE: Anamarie is a very average looking woman. She has brown skin, dark brown hair that she wears cut very short, and brown eyes. She is well muscled after seventeen years as a dragonrider, and it suits her well. She tends to wear mostly sturdy, neutral coloured clothes but will add a small brightly coloured scarf or sash around her waist if she isn't doing anything where she might get it too dirty. It's just not practical to wear anything too fine in her day-to-day life.

PERSONALITY:
Anamarie is a friendly person. She wants to have as large a group of friends as she can manage, and loves spending time around others. Anamarie is very self-disciplined, and has a deep love of the Weyr and of duty, and would happily do whatever she needed to uphold both. Not one to allow her emotions to dictate her actions, or to influence her choices, Anamarie is the type to weigh the pros and cons of any situation and make a decision based on those, not how she feels at any given moment, or something as ethereal as a "gut feeling".

Anamarie isn't the type to hide what she needs to say in political doublespeak. When she thinks something needs to be said, she will say it plainly. That doesn't mean she doesn't understand the importance of keeping some thoughts to herself.
She has something of an inflated ego and has more than once judged herself to be better than others because of her own qualities or choices. She can be petty and spiteful, holding grudges when she feels she's been insulted or slighted, long past when they should probably have been let go.

HISTORY:
Anamarie was the firstborn child to her parents but was far from their last. They all knew that their parents wanted a large family and Anamarie was no different, she had grown up knowing that she'd be the leader of the pack of siblings that would no doubt follow her. However, before she'd gotten more than two of the promised pack, a dragon Searched her and took her away from her perceived destiny as the bossy leader she had been eagerly anticipating.

At Igen Weyr, Anamarie made friends with as many people as she could, attempting to combat the loneliness of losing her family as she waited for the moment where she would have a dragon to call her own. After three long years of studying and training and socializing, Anamarie finally met him. Zerulainth was everything Anamarie could have wanted in a dragon. He was tall, with long wings, but a short body, and Anamarie loved him more than anything.

The pair trained hard and spent a lot of time practicing together with any other pair who would work with them. As time passed Anamarie and Zerulainth worked their way up the hierarchy of their wing. Finally, the opportunity came for promotion to Wingsecond, but with a caveat. She'd need to transfer to Semeca Weyr. Igen had always been Anamarie's home, but the opportunity to lead a little pack of her own was too great an opportunity to pass up.

FULL APPEARANCE: Zerulainth is a tall fellow, with long well-muscled legs and a slightly narrow torso. His body is very compact, ending sooner than one might expect, with an almost stubby tail. Zerulainth's wings are long and thin in shape, and give him a somewhat ungainly or unbalanced appearance on the ground. In colour, Zerulainth is a very dark blue, with small spots and soft-edged patches of a paler blue on the underside of his wings. Swirling across his sides, forelegs, neck and curling out of the corner of his eyes are sharp-edged curly-cue markings.

PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY: Zerulainth is a very focused dragon. If he's doing something, he does it with all his attention until he's done, and doesn't appreciate any interruptions. He shares Anamarie's drive for them to be the best pair they can be and doesn't begrudge her any extra practice she sets for them. Zerulainth prefers to be flying whenever possible, feeling more comfortable in the air than he does on the ground. Zerulainth isn't the type to care about everyone around him. There are a few humans and dragons that he cares about and he really doesn't care to spend any extra energy thinking about anyone outside of that group.
