The winter of 1514 marks the end of the 6th turn of Threadfall in the 6th Pass.
Most notably, the season of respite from Thread heralds the opening of Pern's newest Weyr, Meraki.
A call has been issued for transfers from all walks of life, be it Weyr, Hold, or Hall, and the quiet halls have begun to fill.
A young rider, Iverly of Garnet Zierth, steps into her role as Weyrwoman, but it will be months yet before Zierth and the resident Gold Nirath Rise and clutch.
Luckily, two transferring dragons - a Grey and a female Blue - have come to the Weyr already egg-heavy, and are preparing to make history as they lay the very first clutches on Meraki's sands.
We are a newly-open Weyr, with many roles still available for members to fill!
