Get lost, belovedmine [Open]

E'nyo was a growing girl, and that meant she had to eat. A lot. It was only the natural order of things. Clearly, there was no problem with messily chowing down on a mini-feast. Breakfast was the most important meal of the day, after all. You look kind of shardin' gross. Nohadoth's voice touched her mind, from where he sat in the Weyrbowl, sunning.

Oh, like you'd know. Are you here? No. Get lost, punk. E'nyo rolled her eyes. She loved her dragon dearly, but they did enjoy teasing each other, pressing each others' buttons.

Nohadoth snorted, which E'nyo was keenly aware of, despite the two not being together. If dragons could roll their eyes, he would have returned the gesture. 'Sides. You're 29--the only way you're gonna shardin' grow is in width, ya know?

He had a point, but E'nyo's pride wouldn't admit it. As she continued to eat--putting away an amount of food that could only be described as a wondrous feat--she turned towards someone sitting nearby. She had the manners to swallow her food before speaking, a mischievous grin on her face. "Dragons, am I right? What a pain in the ass." She wasn't wearing her knots at the moment. She could have been anyone, she could have meant it. Her face suggested she didn't, but whoever it was had no way of knowing this.

Semaca was still serving breakfast. Molly felt like she had been all over the world by now, several hours into her day, but Semaca was serving breakfast. (To be fair, Molly's day had started when an amorphous nightmare shattered her dreams. Nightmares were less common now, nearly two Turns into therapy, but they still happened. Molly was far too familiar with starting her day abruptly.)

Candidates had a certain amount of leeway when it came to Standing for clutches. No one wanted to risk the legend that a hatchling would go between if they couldn't find the right fit, but that meant that someone generally had to go pick up the willing candidates.

Molly wasn't usually on the list of riders that shuttled candidates back and forth, but she did like to visit Semaca. E'nyo was one of her clutchmates she and Tasikheth had the best relationship with, and it fulfilled both duty and pleasure.

As Molly approached the whiterider, she could tell that she hadn't been spotted. E'nyo was addressing another resident of Semaca, and not at all noticing that there was a Fortian bronze rider holding a tray of food behind her.

"Maybe yours is, but mine is a well-behaved gentleman."

Tasikheth snorted. He was trying to keep a low profile, because while his Molly might not remember her nightmare in detail, he remembered enough to know that he shouldn't be seen by golds today. He didn't remember the inciting incident, naturally, but the problem was recurring enough that he had almost a habit of how to deal with it.

Let's go with that. A proper bronze, even.

E'nyo turned away from the poor, confused individual, towards her friend. A grin spread on her face. Molly. One of the few metallicriders she could actually stand. The only one she actually cared about. With a flourish of her hand, she continued. "Well-behaved gentleman? Well, compared to Nohadoth, maybe, but that's not exactly hard."

Nohadoth snorted. He ignored her, speaking to the bronze. Well, good to hear from ya, gentleman or not. What, can't help it that gentledragons are forskin' boring, right, Tasi? If dragons could grin, Nohadoth would have a mischievous smile on his face. He was trying to annoy Tasikheth--friend or not.

"Anyways, this is a surprise. C'mon, sit with me. What brings you here? Just here to visit your favorite whiterider?" Sure, it was probably business, and Molly was often around Semaca to visit, but...come on, it was just a goldclutch. No big deal, right? E'nyo was clearly more interesting, the better attraction.

Well, she was interesting, at least. Still, E'nyo was curious about the real reason.

Tasikheth was many things - distractable, curious, powerful - but one thing he had never been was fond of nicknames. 'Tasi' would have made him curl his lip in distaste, if dragons had that kind of dexterity. As it was, he snorted at the much smaller white.

Boring, perhaps. Perhaps that's why my Molly spends her nights alone. He let his voice go light, lifting it from the cold venom he'd been slipping into. Bet you couldn't- ah, no, I forget. You are too small to beat me in anything.

Molly favored the rest of the table with a big grin as she took her spot next to her classmate. She'd never had siblings, and most of her weyrling class had snubbed her surprise Impression to the lone bronze of the group, but E'nyo was very nearly like a sister. Certainly a very good friend, and one whose company was welcome.

"Candidate transfer later today. Serapheth's clutch won't Impress itself!"

Theoretically, she had the information she needed to find the candidate she was ferrying today, but she was still planning to find Semaca's candidate master to double check. It was always better to be official about these things.

"Enough about me, enough about work, how are you? You look great!" Southern living was clearly treating her friend well. It made Molly just a little bit jealous.

"Been great!" E'nyo grinned. "Semaca is wonderful. Beautiful, warm, and without as much drama as some other places." She looked at Molly with a coy and innocent expression, as she added, "It's too bad you don't get to enjoy it often, isn't it?" Her expression faded to a wider grin, and she nudged Molly's arm playfully. "No, but, really, things are going pretty well. Can't really complain."

Nohadoth returned Tasikheth's words with a dismissive snort. Yeah, yeah, Tasi--you may be stronger, but betcha anything that I'm faster. Y'can quote me on that one, pal. A mischievous hint to his voice implied that Nohadoth was up to something. Whether he was itching for a race or just trying to annoy his brother, that was left to be seen.

"Oh, lay off, Noha. Can't you try being nice to people you care about, for once?" A snort entered E'nyo's voice, as she teased her dragon. He cut her short, however, turning it around on her.

Real rich comin' from someone as forskin' rude to their friends as you. C'mon, it's just some friendly teasin'.

Whether 'Tasi' thought it was or not, however...
