[RUMOR] Ruined

A storage shed built by Chopin squad has recently collapsed. Closer examination reveals flaws in the construction. The records show that none of the assigned riders or handlers had any specific background in crafting.

Kebar of Green Kebask
--

Kebar looked over the pile of lumber and roofing that had once been a shed. His normally taunt pulled expression pulled lower, as he gave his slightly rough chin a rub, moving it up to scratch the back of his skull over his cap. What a mess... But maybe that was being too generous. The old carpenter hadn't seen the finished structure, but he had noticed how some of the newer recruits had been handling their tasks.

Terrible!!! Terrible, terrible terrible!

Kebask was more open with her thoughts, and she had no problem letting everyone know. She was a supervisor after all.

Look at mess! Not even last full day, and was lopsided when up! Look so terrible!! Kebar - do something!! Make better so Kebask can make pretty!

Though Kebar normally didn't always agree with his 'supervisor', in this instance, he sorta did. He felt rather shamed on behalf. Ah, well....

Worrell-mine. Think we oopsied.

Another green wher was in the midst. Rather, on the outside looking in. She was tucked behind a rock, standing before her handler with the air of somebody waiting to give the all-clear. Abashed, that was the mindset she felt. A little confused, too. The shed looked nice before! A little oblong, but that gave it character!

Worrell carefully side-stepped his partner and sucked a slow breath through clenched teeth. "Well babe, looks like we were one wheel off the wagon, knowatImean?" He cleared his throat. Hauling a bucket of tools with impressive strength considering his beanpole appearance, Worrell slid towards the other handler. Worrsk trailed behind him, eyeing Kebask with a little trepidation. "Just needs a little paint!"

Should we tell them it us?

Not. A. Word.

"Whew, careful touchin' that mess or you're bound to get a splinter!" Worrell continued. "Just grabbin' some tools ... Figured we could help spruce it up if'n ya could ... give us a few pointers n' all."

Kebask was stalking back and forth as she continued to rant over the ruined shed, shaking her head every time she took a glance at the horrendous thing. One might of thought the shed had been strictly for her, or that it had been her work on the line with how she fumed.

Should be done over from start! Make Squad look bad—Weyr think do shoddy craftsmanship!! Not fair-- Kebar lumped in with bad workers!! Kebar work ugly but well made---It different!!

The handler in question didn't even bat a squinted eye as the little Green ranted aloud. He merely looked over what remained standing of the shed, trying his best to see where to start. Kebask was probably right, that it would be better to start over, as it would be too hard to try and keep things balanced up and to get them level. It would probably be good to check the material as well, ensure nothing became warped from too much weight. So he didn't even turn when a new voice interrupted Kebask from her critique.

Paint?!--- Kebask stopped in her prowling and turned to the source of the new voice, Worrell. Paint not fix!! Paint just make colored mess!! she exclaimed, her little wings flapping from her frustration. How could this person even suggest such a thing!

Kebask didn't get to go on, as a loud crash came from behind. Quickly turning, she soon discovered what was left of the shed was now rightly knocked over in a full messed heap. Kebar standing before it with his hands on his hips, before reaching in to start pulling out sections and pieces of wood.
