With the whole class transferring from Telgar, Nairia was quite sure that the Semacans were going to feel slightly overrun by all the new riders. Not that Nairia and Dogodath on their own were overwhelming! But the whole lot of them? Well, that was certainly going to take a lot of adjusting on both sides.

Still, Nairia was excited when they landed on the Weyr Plateau of their new home, freshly transferred from Telgar. She thought that the arrival of the new transfers was going to be staggered somewhat, but she wasn't actually sure. She hadn't paid much attention past when she and Dogodath were expected.

Giving her dragon an affectionate pat, then undid her straps and dismounted, fishing out her transfer papers. When she spoke, Nairia's voice was high and a little sing-songy. "Ready to get settled in our new home? With as warm as it is here, there should be some very lovely flowers, don't you think?"

The warmth is lovely, especially compared to Telgar, Dogodath noted. I think we will like it here.
