Allelujah is a tall, handsome young man with lightly tanned skin. His eyes are a silvery grey. His hair is dark brown, falling thick and fluffy past his shoulders and bangs in his face, but out of his eyes. He stands at 6'3" and is rather self conscious about his height. His build is trim but muscular, though it's not always apparent until he takes his shirt off. He does his best to not block others' view when he's in a crowd, but that's not always possible. While his clothing tends to be more practical than flashy, his wardrobe is rather form fitting.

PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY:
Allelujah is a gentle soul who wants nothing but good things for the world. He's willing to help anyone with anything he can, even if it's only to offer a sympathetic ear or a pat on the shoulder. He tries to believe in the inherent good in people, though sometimes to folly. He knows deep down that not everyone is good and some people are just genuinely terrible, but he wants to believe differently. It takes a lot to make Allelujah hate someone, but he doesn't suffer horrible people. He's able to make those tough decisions, but in the back of his mind he wonders if it was the right thing to do.

He can be a bit shy at first around new people, but once he gets to know someone he’ll open up more. While he likes spending time with others and in groups, he does appreciate quiet time to himself to read or relax. He is undying loyal to those he considers his truest friends and will defend them to the death, but he will also call them out on poor behavior. He wants them to be the best versions of themselves they can, and the same goes for himself. Being the best he can be is his goal in life, and even if he never truly gets there he’s going to try his hardest. Even so, he's very much a pushover and will let

HISTORY:
Allelujah was born in a small cothold in High Reaches territory. His parents were farmers, and his life was simple, but good for the most part. The war overshadowed much of his childhood, and from the time he could understand, he despised the fighting and Golre's cruelty. While not untouched by the war, his family at least was unscathed, though the shadow lingered.

Early on, Allelujah found that while he didn't dislike farming, his affinity was more toward animals than plants. As soon as he was old enough, he began apprenticing as a beastcrafter, expressing interest in beasthealing early on. He was passionate and studied hard, wanting to get the most from his education and be the best he could at his profession.

He graduated to Journeyman at twenty and set to his position with as much passion as he did his apprenticeship. However, he had become tired of the chaos and violence rife in the North, tired enough that he left for the newly recognized Semaca Weyr in the winter of 2765. He took to Semaca like a duck to water, his easygoing nature helped him to settle in relatively quickly. It wasn't long before Semaca felt like home and he set to caring for the herds and ensuring their continued health.

-He needs a flaw. Being "shy at first" isn't a flaw. You could easily fold in aspects of Hallelujah (a quick, over the top temper; being single-focused when roused to the point of injury), or even exaggerate some aspects of him in canon (ie: being a pushover, etc).

-How did he become a formal crafter at a small cothold? He would have had to go to Keroon Hold for formal training, which leads to...

-Crafters don't get a say in where they're sent, and no one is sending crafters to Semaca. There's no hold there, no real opportunities for further learning. The lack of support makes riders and handlers at Semaca get creative, and forced to be self-sufficient. It's still a harsh, untamed land, barely a "civilized" place.

He doesn't need to be a formal crafter. Remember, crafters are specialists, Journeymen are like a PhD student. He could have been Searched somewhere and aged out, or been close to aging out at somewhere like Igen and transferred to Semaca, only to not want dragons or realize whers are super cool.
