FULL APPEARANCE: Turaya is of average height and weight, at 5’8 and about 155 Ibs. She is very thin, but built more like a swimmer. Her complexion is pale with the very minimum of a tan. She has shoulder length dark brown hair that is slightly wavy and dark brown eyes. She uses her left hand as her dominant. She is soft spoken, but sings Soprano. She has a necklace made of a thin silver cord with a tiny pendent on it. The necklace was gift L'ryn gave to her mother on their anniversary. It was passed down to Turaya.
PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY: Turaya is shy and very sweet. She is also a hard worker, willing to do whatever is needed of her. Some might call her a bit of a pushover, but she is hiding her sly side. Only those closest to her ever get hints of this facet. When there is something she wants, she is a good barterer, oftentimes getting one over on the people she’s trading with. More often than not they don’t realize what happened until she’s already gone.
In regards to her family and close friends, she's a very Yes person. She'd take the clothes off her back to make sure her family or friends are happy. This has caused her to be taken advantage of on many occasions. She just can't seem to help it with those she's close to. While she's gotten a bit better over the Turns about saying no, she still struggles with staying firm in her decisions.

HISTORY: Turaya was born to greenrider Jaemie and brownrider L’ryn. Her mother Jaemie unfortunately passed away shortly after giving birth due to blood loss. The healers were unable to stop the bleeding. L’ryn was devastated at the loss of his Weyrmate Jaemie. Even though he loved his newborn daughter, he knew he was in no mind to take care of Turaya the way she needed, so he fostered her to Drema who was a Journeywoman Harper stationed at Ista Weyr. L’ryn was still involved in Turaya’s life, but more as a beloved uncle rather than father.
Turaya grew up with the other Weyrbrats, always getting into trouble, and being mischievous. There were a few kids she always hung out with, but that changed when she turned ten. Drema, her fostermother, started talking to her about picking a craft. Turaya thought hard about it and decided to apprentice as a Harper when she was 14.
She found she loved it and was apprenticed shortly after. It wasn't until she was 16 when she was told she could stand for the clutches at Ista. She almost didn’t until Drema talked her into it. Drema said that it was always another option for her.
As time went on, Turaya failed to impress so kept up her training as a Harper. At age 19, for her birthday, L'ryn and Drema had gotten her a flit egg which hatch out a gold she named Eliana.
During her time at Ista Weyr, Her father and Drema had gotten closer and eventually married when she was 20. She didn't find out until a couple month's later that Drema was pregnant with her half sibling. The pregnancy was a complete surprise to them because Drema was nearing the end of her childbearing turns. Drema had thought she was going through that phase when the pregnancy was found.
Turaya was excited because she'd always wanted siblings. Soon enough her half-brother Daryn was born. The next couple turns Turaya focused on her new family. Until her father and Drema came to her. They'd decided to transfer to Semaca Weyr for a fresh start and wanted Turaya to come with them. It wasn't a hard decision and the small family made their way to their new home.
