FULL APPEARANCE:Ritsa is a thin young woman with dark blond to light brown hair, olive-toned skin, and hazel-grey eyes. Short and scrawny, however she is well kept and clean. Her skin lacks any callouses that would be present in those who ride dragons or tend to any journeyman or above trades. She carries herself in a somewhat masculine way for females that is. Rista has some slight freckling from sun damage is present on her skin. (IMAGE INCOMING -- Need time to draw her out)
PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY: Ritsa has always been a firecracker, born with the desire to prove herself and wanting to be accepted as one of the Dragonriders. She will do whatever it takes to become a dependable rider and show that she is just as strong and worthy of respect regardless of her lineage.
This need to prove herself rears its head as a very competitive nature, wanting to do better than anyone else and break records wherever she can. She will challenge others to tests of skills, and gloat over her wins as they pour in. She works hard to make sure she won’t be proven foolish when she picks fights/matches, whether its strength or wits.
When she does lose, she becomes reactive and the firecracker soul ignites and stokes a bomb. She can be volatile and wears her emotions on her sleeve, even such strong negative emotions as hate, rage, and envy. She has a lot to learn in the way of being a good sport and will struggle for a long time with being a sore loser and the impact that has on her relationships outside of the home. Let’s just say she’s not the social butterfly she thinks she is.

HISTORY:
Her mother worked as a cleaner in the Weyr she was born into. Her father, unknown and absent through her life though she was informed that he was a greenrider. As with most children born to commoners within the Weyr, Ritsa and her older brother Rohdihn were just as capable of getting into trouble as the rest.
The young girl didn't care much for the life in the creche she was born into. Ritsa was frequently caught starting fights with the young Candidates nearer to her age, she was determined to make her way into something better for herself.
Though the fights often ended in her own beatings and extra work load after defeat, Ritsa never gave up. Her nature made it difficult for her to make and maintain friends. By the time she had turned 15 Ritsa was permitted to enter candidacy. It broke her heart to know her first couple rounds of hatchings, she was not allowed to approach the eggs to touch or be considered a proper candidate until she was able to pass a few more of her studies.
This in turn only fueled more fighting from Ritsa. Riding on the candidate masters last nerve. The young woman was transferred to High Reaches Weyr in time for the newest hatching to occur. Embittered, about her new circumstances Ritsa currently awaits her own chance to impress a dragon.

During her Candidacy after having been transfered to high reaches, Ritsa met a bronzerider named Dani who's golden firelizard had laid a clutch of eggs. Ritsa eagerly sought to have one and when it hatched she was able to impress a blue firelizard she promptly named Sapphire.
