That said, she has a feminine figure, and looks surprisingly sturdy and solid, despite her narrower bone structure. In composure and posture, she is always graceful, elegant, and fluid. Every movement is careful, playing off of whatever persona she is currently trying to portray. Her hair, a chocolate brown in color, flows in gentle waves down to her back. While her hairstyle and clothing are often finery and dresses, but she prefers practical clothing, if no one (important) will see her in it. Her eyes are large, almost doe-like, and a dark brown in color. She constantly accentuates her physical appearance, using fashion and hairstyles to draw attention to her favorite features.
PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY: A friendly yet vapid woman who is more cunning, ambitious, and manipulative than most know.
At first glance, most people see Lucrezia as a vapid and vain woman. She acts empty-headed--but bubbly and friendly, as well. She can be quite flirty, but like most of her visible characteristics, it depends on the person. In truth, Lucrezia is more cunning and manipulative than is immediately evident. Observant and resourceful, Lucrezia is a careful planner who considers things carefully, but sticks with determination (or stubbornness) to her decisions. She uses her appearance, feminine wiles, and shifting personas for manipulation. Although she rarely deviates far from the unsubstantial personality, she tends to adjust it as necessary to suit different situations. She usually retains a bit of her true personality--being curious and inquisitive, even if she acts as though she is not very bright.
In truth, Lucrezia is ambitious and ruthless--socially and politically, at least. She is not afraid to step on others, manipulate them, or if they've lost their usefulness, cast them aside or throw them under the bus. Generally critical and judgmental, though she doesn't voice it often, Lucrezia's perspective on the world is both harsh and paranoid: everyone is out for themselves in this eat-or-be-eaten world. If given the chance, others would use her as a stepping stone, so she must beat them to the chase. As a woman driven by power and personal gain, she recognizes the power of wealth, and seeks all three. She doesn't want to rule, so much as to control--not to be seen, but to influence the world. Despite being politically and socially aware, she only involves herself from the sidelines, with some degree of subtlety. She is biding her time, waiting to strike. Despite her ambitions and plans, she has always been amazed by the beauty of dragons, and held a secret longing for one of her own.
The fragment of genuine emotion and care for others beneath her cruel perspective and actions rarely surfaces, but if she trust and cares for someone, she may show herself as less frivolous and more intelligent. She may also show some degree of this to those she wishes to take her seriously, perhaps as a (temporary) partner. Her relationship with her brother is a bit strange, in which she genuinely cares for him, but knows that he would stab her in the back if he had to--so she would offer him the same favor. Right now, their ambitions align, and she is even considering using him as an outlet to power. A figurehead, of sorts.

Elder Half-Brother: Cesare
Younger Brother: Gioffre
SIGNIFICANT OTHER: (optional)
BIRTHPLACE: Minor Hold near High Reaches
HISTORY: As the third child and only female child of a minor hold's Lord, Lucrezia was doted on by both of her parents. Born in 2748, she was six turns younger than Cesare, the youngest of her two half brothers. Jovani, who was even older than her, was never particularly close to her. Perhaps it was his poor health, which let her grow closer to the siblings that were ill less frequently. Her younger brother, Gioffre, she considered to be a dear sibling, but growing up, she was closest to Cesare. He was overprotective of her, which at first, she accepted. As she grew up, she relied on him less heavily, learning to be independent, which she preferred. Not even Cesare would look out for her interests above his own. No, that was up to her.
In one way or another, she grew up learning to rely on "feminine wiles" and the boons of her appearance. At first, it was just getting adults to give that "cute little girl" extra sweets, but as she matured, it took on different forms. Her brother taught her ways to care for herself, and her parents groomed her to be married off, to further her father's ambitions for the hold. She didn't really care for the idea of being a pawn in someone else's ambitions, not if it wouldn't suit her, but Lucrezia nodded and smiled when they told her of her future. She had bigger plans. Fascinated by dragons, she spent turns fantasizing about becoming a Weyrwoman--or maybe a rider to turn the Weyrwoman's head in carefully planned directions. Planning on Impression was unpredictable, especially when her life was not geared towards it, but she was secretly set on the idea. She wouldn't admit it, but she craved the closeness a dragon would give--someone she knew, who wouldn't stab her in the back.
When she was 14, her brother was searched, and she wished she could go with him, as she cared deeply for him. At 16, for her birthday, she was given a runner, Stride, who she cared for dearly. Around this time, she also learned that acting vain and superficial often got her underestimated, and was an easy way to get people--especially those who might consider courting her--to lower their guard. At 18, however, she was told that she would be betrothed to a nice, young holder, an heir to another minor hold, albeit an exceptionally wealthy one. Her parents thought she would be happy--their materialistic daughter could have anything she wanted, after all!--but she sat them down and told them, firmly, that she would not marry. She admitted to having dreams of being a dragonrider, which she presented as something she was determined to do, even if her reason was a vague, "Golds are so shiny and beautiful! Don't you want me to have one?"
In truth, she exaggerated her desire quite a bit, to her parents, and after choosing her Weyr, no longer had any desire to Impress gold. Rather--a Weyr seemed a good place to begin, rather than living as someone else's pawn, forever in the shadow of her family. Only Cesare knew her true self, to some degree. She loved her brother, to an extent, and figured he could be of use to her. While she mentally framed it in terms of logical ambition--Impress a dragon, use her brother, get power over the Weyrs, in a time when Weyrs held such power--she was driven more by emotion than she would admit.
She assured them that High Reaches was very different than it once was, a safe haven for dragonriders of all colors, and much kinder to candidates than in the past. Lucrezia's parents accepted her ultimatum: should she age out without Impressing, she would marry without a fuss. Her parents doubted she could even get herself searched, or be a suitable candidate, but they agreed to let her go to High Reaches, to see her brother, at least. To get this strange rebellion out of her system. Lucrezia was more intelligent and determined than given credit for, however, and after figuring out which dragons were more likely to search her, personally, after arriving, she presented herself as a potential candidate. Her search was simple, but she was quite proud, anyways. She continues to act in a way that she feels will manipulate people better, and will try to get cozy to anyone who wields any kind of power at the Weyr.
