FULL APPEARANCE:
She isn't one for bright flashy colors, nor dark dull colors. Instead, she will be right in the middle and wear colors that are either neutral or medium in shade. She seems to love to wear simple clothing along with it. She has two main outfits that she likes to wear, both involving basic boots. She will either be found in a skirt and a shirt, or pants and a shirt. She doesn't like to wear the skirt too often, for she feels that it impedes the work that she could be doing, so she mainly wears pants.
Her hair style will depend on how she wakes up that morning. If she really doesn't feel like brushing the knots out of her hair, she will just pull it back as well as she can. But then there are the mornings where her hair is neatly brushed and down, as if she is trying to impress someone. But when it comes to a touching or a hatching, she will always look her best in her white robes. Her hair will be down and her robes will always be cleaned.
She doesn't seem to be a very muscular girl at all, nor is it because the muscles are hidden. She just doesn't have a lot of muscle on her body. She likes to keep her nails neatly trimmed and kept proper while making sure that her hair is always free of dead hair. Once a week, she will do a rigorous bathing day to be sure that there is no dead skin on her as well to make her look unkempt.
PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY:
She seems to hold this leadership quality. She loves to be in charge, but this isn't a "you do as I say" leadership, but more of a delegation. She won't issue commands unless it is absolutely needed and even then, she is open for suggestions. She takes any suggestions that she is given and she thinks on them. She will weigh their outcomes and decide if it is the best way to go. But if she feels that an option is not going to promote a new kind of change, then she will disregard it completely. But if it is an idea that she likes, even if the outcome she doesn't, she will try to think of a way to make it work towards what she wants.
She is resourceful in her ways, as she only wants to use what is around her at times. She wants to be sure that they have what they need and that they can use it in any kind of manner or way. She doesn't like to waste anything, and this even include potential. She knows that there are bad people out there, and she will still be kind to them. She will try to see the potential that they could possibly bring. If she can help someone change their ways, she will, and she will help them personally. She doesn't like to send someone to do a job or chore that she knows that she needs to do. Instead, she will find a way to squeeze that into her daily routine, just so that she knows that it gets done correctly.
She tends to have a bit of an organizational problem, with everything having it place and it not allowed to be in another place. This tends to make it easier for her to find things, even if it might impede another person. She can be strict and stern in her ways, especailly if she knows that someone has done something that they shouldn't have done. She wants to be sure that the person gets to see that she doesn't like their choice, even if it might have brought good to the Weyr. She wants to be sure that they understand that things still happen for a reason, and the possibility of losing someone isn't a good thing.
HISTORY
FAMILY:
R'tarin - Father, Brownrider
Visitirine - Mother, Greenrider
Various unnamed Brothers and Sisters
SIGNIFICANT OTHER: N/A
BIRTHPLACE: High Reaches Weyr
HISTORY:
Her parents weren't friends nor were they together when they had Kirrive. She was the result of flight lust, a result that went right to the Creche to be raised after being weaned from her mother. Growing up, she knew that there was problems with the riders, she often heard about it while she roamed the Weyr trying to do chores and stay out of trouble on her own. She was grateful for the Harper lessons that she was able to receive in the Creche, detailing the history of Pern and the weyr. But this history showed to her, even from a young age, that things needed to change, she just didn't know how yet.
Things seemed to be simple for her, she would stay out of trouble and away from the riders unless her chores bid otherwise. Everything on the weyr was okay, even with the colorism. But when Golre declared High Reaches the Peacekeepers, people seemed to be worried and scared. She didn't fully understand what this meant yet, since her Harper lessons hadn't gotten to it yet. But it was something that obviously worried the adults. Some even to the point to where they left the Weyr for other Weyrs. As she got older, she wanted to become a candidate, to have the chance to impress a dragon to have that bond. To have a family.
But even still, she was scared, because it meant that if she didn't impress upon something shiny, then she was basically worthless. At least, this is how she presumed it from hearing others talking. Things started to change though after Golre declared war with Fort Weyr. There were only two battles apart of this war, and it ended quickly after the second battle. That was the battle where Golre and her gold died in battle. This meant change, right? She watched, and helped, the Weyr rebuild under new leadership, even if it wasn't High Reaches leadership yet.
The Fortians who came to help seemed to want to help, so they let them. When they elected a Weyrwoman, it was Na'ri of Green Kasheth. This was a big change for the weyr, but it was a welcomed one. There didn't seem to be anymore colorism, for the most part that she could see, so it helped her continue to want to become a candidate when she was old enough to do so. But when she was out doing her chores one day, she found this firelizard egg. She didn't see the rest of the clutch, nor did she see anyone who might be the owner.
So, she took the egg with her back to her room and she waited for it to hatch. Beside her, she had a bowl of meat scraps, waiting, and once it hatched, she was excited. There was a baby garnet firelizard standing in front of her, and she wasted no time in feeding the little hungry one food. She loved her new little friend, and she treated her like family. So, when she became a candidate, Ildroani of course came with her. She was excited to be a candidate, for she wanted to see what she had the chances of impressing.
Of course though, things would change in the next turn, for a new Weyrwoman was elected, Anaiya of Green Adasheth. This new Weyrwoman hated the ideas of golds coming back. Kirrive didn't agree with her, but she knew that she couldn't voice things aloud, so she didn't. Instead, she started to hope more and more that she would impress to a Gold, just to prove to the new Weyrwoman that not all golds are bad. She has been a candidate for two turns now, and so far, no golds have hatched during her time standing.
That doesn't mean that she will give up. Instead, it seems to be making her more determined, but perhaps that is to cover up the doubt that she might be feeling inside. But she hopes, that no matter what, she can help change the way that the Weyr thinks. She knows that they need a gold again, even if others don't seem to think so.
