PERSONALITY

He is often a stoic individual, speaking in a straightforward manner. Due to this, it can often seem as if he is very blunt to those he has no interest in speaking to. He is also somewhat of a heroic individual and wishes to prove this to those around him. He wants to prove he is the best dragonrider that the weyr had ever seen and that nothing will stand in his way. This means by going through any sort of way, either through manipulation or doing risks most would not do. He is willing to do whatever it takes, even if it causes another person harm. He is ruthless in his goals and ambitions and lets nothing stand in his way.
HISTORY
FAMILY: Ariruen (cousin)
SIGNIFICANT OTHER: N/A
BIRTHPLACE: Fort Weyr
HISTORY: TW warning: Death
Hitoshi lived a pretty modest life for the first seven years of his life. There was not a lot that went on in Fort Weyr, at least for a child. He did notice that the dragon riders were constantly training for different reasons, one of which he would later understand as threadfall. As a child, he did not seem to understand how important this way.
He spent a lot of time playing with his cousin and hanging out with them. His parents were often busy with their dragons and jobs, but he never felt that they did not hate him.
In fact, they often made it clear how much they loved him and would spend most of their free time with him.
That was.. until the war of 2761.
Golre had declared war on Fort Weyr and a lot of riders were summoned to defend the fort.. including Hitoshi's parents. While the first wave was successfully kept away with minimal causalities, the second attack ended with not only the war ending, but Hitoshi's parents being killed in the battle. This shattered his heart and made him become more quiet and closed off from others.
Nothing even seemed to compare to the sudden loss of his parents, even if after three years there was a new senior queen and a gold egg had been injured because of a fight between two dragons.
He had become much quieter and more reserved. He would spend a majority of his time studying. However, at times, he did not get much time to just be by himself, as much as he wanted.
He decided that, at the age of fifteen, he would train to become a candidate. He wanted to be like his parents. He had learned the importance of the constant training the dragonriders did, preparing for threadfall. He knew how dangerous it was and he wanted to help. Maybe.. he could stop parents from dying like his own?
He wanted to be a hero like they were.
No..
He wanted to be the best.
