FULL APPEARANCE: D'kor is not an overly attractive man, but he is not without his physical charm. Broad shoulders and a not-quite barrel chest give him a solid frame, but he is not built like a tank. He is well kept enough that he has endurance for movement, and can keep up with most, though he is not without his limits. He has long, straight brown hair that he keeps pulled back in a ponytail, and he dresses very traditionally for a rider, with little deviation from the standards of the Weyr.
PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY: D'kor is...a little dumb, to put it honestly. He is of average intelligence, but he seems to catch on to things a little slower, and he takes more time doing things, though he is always sure to go back and make sure they are thoroughly dumb. Those who are less kind wondered how the man ever managed to Impress, let alone a Bronze; the kinder souls of Fort find him to be kind and noble, even if these feelings are somewhat misplaced and dated, compared to the standards and openness of the Weyr in general these days.
He is somewhat of a traditionalist, though he will admit - slowly - there is room for growth and deviation. He believes strongly in the structure and rules of the Weyr - after all, they have worked for generations, and not failed (except for that whole 'war' thing) yet - and tries to live his life to the fullest of the ideal Dragonrider. He is polite and somewhat socially adept, but he is often slower on figuring things out, though he tries his hardest to contribute. On the upside, D'kor is the kind you could ask to do anything and he would loyally do so. He is willing to contribute to any cause, and will do anything for the preservation and good of those in the Weyr.

HISTORY: D'kor has come from a long line of Weyr bred dragonriders, most of them riding bronzes and browns with a couple of blues and greens mixed in. Many, many generations back the original D'kor was rumored to have been a Wingleader and eventual Weyrleader. Since then, his line has bred true, continuing to produce riders. The current D'kor was born at Fort, the only child from his parents, despite many attempts. He grew up in the Weyr, serving as a drudge and learning little bits of trades from other riders, but mostly awaiting his turn to Stand on the Sands and try his turn at Impressing.
Like everyone before him, he Impressed in his first couple of Hatchings - to a Bronze, no less - and began to train diligently to join the ranks of the Midnight Wing. He fought in the war when the time came, taking his injuries and dealing out justice to those who created problems; when the war came to an end, he began to train for normal Threadfall and helped with investigations of issues as they came up. He also discovered Xenth's unusual talent for Searching, and assists when needed.
