Despite the elegance of his features, he has a wide jawline and a sturdy-looking facial build.
PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY: Fyrrowen is a charming man...or so he seems to think. In reality, he's loud, boisterous, and consistently flirty. He will flirt with anyone--and often in an obnoxious, cheesy way--but doesn't impede on boundaries. He might cross them before he knows them, but once they are asserted, he can be surprisingly respectful. Despite Fyrrowen's friendly, easygoing manner, despite the way he doesn't seem to care about anything, despite his devil-may-care attitude...Fyrrowen has a temper. It's legendary and easy to ignite, and if you anger him, he will cuss you out, possibly even fight you. He can be a bit defensive, quick to jump to the attack. Don't test him or provoke him, because his bark is loud, and his bite is sharp. Any threats, perceived or accurate, will not be tolerated. That said, he is a teasing man, and any insults that are not meant in cruelty are treated as a form of affection. Rowesk calls him twinkletoes, and honestly, that's probably fair, he guesses.
Fyrrowen loves animals, people, and dragonkin--especially his feline and wher. He will definitely fight you if you disrespect or insult either, and will protect them with his life. He has a tendency to take in strays, and can/will feed any animals he sees in the Weyr. He has a way with animals, and tries to befriend any animal he meets. While patient and gentle with animals, he is neither of these things with humans, dragons, or whers. In another life, he might have been a starcrafter, as he is enamored with the night sky--he enjoys late nights stargazing.
Generally, Fyrrowen is a fierce person with a loud personality. He stands out--he wants to stand out. Constantly talking and overly friendly, he has no concept of personal space. Physical affection is his thing, and he's prone to hugging, clapping people on the shoulder, and so on. He errs on the side of people being fine with it, but respects limits when they are set. Still...he can be a bit overwhelming, with his force of will and tendency to fill a room with his presence. He gestures wildly, speaks loudly, and doesn't sharding shut up.

BIRTHPLACE: Outside of a hold, trader caravan/trade route
HISTORY: Born 2738, in the midst of the Interval War, Fyrrowen was the first of many children born to "Arrow" and "Fyn." Traders, his parents were once in business that was less than refutable. Bad blood after ripping someone influential off resulted in some (incredibly dramatic) name changes. Despite going by Arrowen and Fyntir, they decided that nicknames would be a family tradition when their firstborn arrived. Fyrrowen was called "Fear," which he hated. He quickly grew out of it, and when a nickname was "required" by his eccentric parents, he requested to be called "Fyrrow."
Dramatic and extra, his parents were prone to symbols and traditions. As traders during the interval, they tried to stay away from the war, but kept several holds with the resources they needed. By the time Fyrrowen was four, he had 5 younger siblings--four brothers and one sister. All of the names were dramatic, as were the insistances on nicknames, but no one else in his family seemed to mind.
Growing up, Fyrrowen got lost in the shuffle. He learned to assert his needs, and loudly, in order to get them met. The trader caravan was large, even beyond their family, and there was always work to do. At a young age, Fyrrowen was helping out. In 2755, when Fyrrowen was around 17, the war ended. Three turns later, the family had to take additional precautions--as thread began to fall. No longer could they travel freely, without consulting charts, and they would need to make more stops. Careful planning was required.
For much of his life, the business of Weyrs was just that--not his business. When Golre reigned, when Fort was attacked, all that? Entirely irrelevant to him. Sure, it paid to make sure you stayed updated, as a trader, but generally speaking, it was simple stuff. Avoid High Reaches during this time, be cautious around Fort at that, don't get caught in a battle, and so on.
Everything about that changed 4 turns ago, in 2766, when he was 27. His family stopped by Fort Weyr for a few months, looking to nurse his sister back to health after she got an infection. She recovered after what felt like ages--and shards, did he worry--but during this time, he befriended a feline. He adopted Dally, and vowed to stay at Fort Weyr because it was her home. The silly reason--keeping a feline in a familiar place, because he needed to keep her--belied a stronger, subconscious desire to be around whers and dragons. They were majestic creatures...and he loved watching them. When his sister was told she could no longer travel, the respiratory infection leaving her sickly, some family members remained at Fort Weyr; Fyrrowen was one of them. He became a wher candidate, and at 29, in Spring of 2768, he Impressed to Rowesk.
