FULL APPEARANCE: A little taller than average, with a willowly slender built that only adds to the effect, Iaissyn is for the most part, fairly unremarkable. There is nothing overly striking or unique about her, but she's pretty enough all told. A smile often present and a generally warm expression on her face.
She prefers to wear her dark hair loose down her back and can often be found fiddling with it - willing to regularly push it back out of her way rather than simply tie it back. Which is also the case with her clothing, she rarely rolls up the sleeves on her clothing, but she'll push them up unconciously each time they slide down. Much of her clothing she's made herself, simple styles for the most part, and not always fully hemmed. When she can afford it, she favours brighter colours, but there is an assortment of all sorts really. Whatever she thought was nice at the time.
PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY: Friendly and outgoing, Iaissyn enjoys being surrounded by people. If there is a group of people, she wants to be in the middle of it. Not neccessarily the center of attention (although she doesn't mind that), but at the very least involved. She's eternally curious and doesn't want to miss out on anything that's going on - what if something exciting happened and she wasn't there?
Not that her attention span can always keep up with her curiosity. Definitely one to flit from task to task, Iaissyn likes to try a little of everything, but convinicing her to stay still and finish a task is tricky at times. She doesn't mean to be so fickle, but it happens and it's just how she is. It also makes her more than a little disorganised, with her brain always rushing onto the next thing, she's prone to forgetting things - not remembering that she was supposed to be meeting someone for lunch, or if she does make it somewhere on time, getting there to realise she's forgotten to bring something she needs.
She really does try, at least when it comes to candidate classes and chores anyway, but she isn't always perfect - and outside of those important things? Well, she struggles. Friends will be stood up, turnsdays will almost certainly be forgotten, but she doesn't mean any harm by it and will be infinately appologetic when she realises.

BIRTHPLACE: A Cothold South East of Fort Weyr
HISTORY: Born in an insignificant cothold somewhere to the South East of Fort Weyr, Iaissyn's upbringing was a fairly sheltered one. They were close enough to a larger hold that they made the trip once or twice a turn, but as a child being allowed to go was always a special treat - especially if it was for a gather.
The crowds, the noise, the people. Perhaps they should have scared her, but instead Iaissyn always reveled in them, loving that there was always something going on. She didn't want a boring ordinary life stuck in the cothold that she was raised in, so at her first chance to escape, she did so. Apprenticing to the
Weavercraft and moving to Southern Boll in her early teens.
She didn't always find studying the easiest, definitely better at smaller tasks than larger ones, but she managed enough - her curiousity and interest to know things balancing against where she was weaker. She was never going to be top of the class, but she kept herself from being sent home as useless, at least.
For all she didn't want to be sent home though (whether that was a realistic fear or not), when a search rider found her a little after her sixteenth turns day, Iaissyn jumped at the chance to head to the Weyr. Barely sparing a thought to the life she was leaving behind.
