FULL APPEARANCE:
Ana'marie stands at a well built six feet even and has the frame to match it. A woman who is not afraid of hard work and fond of early morning runs before starting her daily routine have left her in peak physical condition. Hair so dark brown that it appears black falls down to just below her shoulders and is often flying free in the wind if she can get away with it. Otherwise, she often wears it in a low horsetail or a sloppy bun to keep it out of her face, especially if flying.
Her facial structure is almost heart shaped, with a softly rounded chin and full lips that are often curved into a smile, be it happiness or she is amused by something cheeky she has said or done. Her eyes are a bit more deep set and a rich chocolate brown framed by long luscious lashes. Her skin the color of a darker caramel and she has freckles over her cheeks, shoulders and down her back.

Ana'marie is as fierce and strong a young woman as one might perceive her to be upon first glance. She is often smiling, be it from amusement or just general happiness. She likes to sing and one thing she does decently well, something that developed young in life and had she chose to embrace it, she might have went down a different path.
She is very warm, nurturing and friendly to those around her, often offering advice and encouragement to those around her that might be down on themselves or in some kind of frustrated duress. Her less than nice qualities manifest in her taking the role of big sister a bit too far sometimes (offering unwanted or needed advice or admonishment) and its not limited to her blood kin.. it extends to anyone around her she is close to and it can be a lot to deal with.
She also has a wicked sarcastic streak and tends to shove her foot in her mouth often or mock her those critical of her in a sarcastic tone. She also has a tendency to lecture and throw her weight around, and when she is wound up in anger, personal space and such are not things occurring to her. Sarcastic humor aside, if she considers someone a friend or ally, she will fiercely defend them, getting in faces and if violence is the only answer.. she won't back down.

HISTORY:
Anamarie was born as the first child to Amara and Zigor at Igen Hold. She was an energetic and happy baby and did not cause too much stress to her then young parents. It was not long before she was joined by her first younger sibling and even though she was still pretty small, she took the role of big sister seriously. Seriously enough that as she grew and time pressed forward, each new sibling born came under her "protection."
At age 11, her mother gave birth to twin siblings and by this time, Anamarie was beginning to hit her stride and changing in both physical body and mind. Her early entry into puberty irritated her, as she had began to grow parts that tended to draw the kind of attentions she never asked for. Instead, she chose to take to wearing bigger clothes to make her changes less obvious and began to ponder her life's path. She and her brother Bernado often spoke of how neat it would be to soar the skies on dragonback and fight thread to protect their home.
When they were of age, both she and Bernado were searched and she made the choice to accept and was off to chase her dream. She came into her own during her candidacy, throwing all she could behind her studies, her training and meeting each lesson with determined stubbornness. She stood on the sands several times and did not impress but she did not let it stop her, she knew in her heart that her dragon was out there, just waiting for her to find them.
However, she decided that perhaps her luck would be better elsewhere and thus she transferred to High Reaches. Her real secondary reason was a boy she fancied had transferred there that was a year her senior and she hoped to catch his eye.
At age 23, the wait paid off and she impressed to a beautiful brown named Takedath. Her crush however did not impress and when she tried to speak to him, he was less than cordial, saying he didnt have time for such things as romance, that he had to impress. So she let the idea go.. besides.. she had a little dragon relying on her for care, that was far more important!
She felt her work was only beginning and boy was she right. During her weyrlinghood, she learned that being a rider and caring for a dragon was a lot more demanding than she was prepared for at the start. There were several times she was so tired and irritated that she wanted to just throw her head against the wall.
Takedath, bless his dragon heart, was the force that pulled her back up by her bootlaces, sometimes literally, and shook her back to herself again. The bond that formed the day they met only grew from such moments and she was fiercely protective of her brown. While they were not as suited for thread combat as others, they were careful, often playing the back up for those more suited for skillful maneuvers.
Several years of fighting thread behind her, she decided she missed her family and pondered a transfer back to her home when she got a letter from her mother about her twin siblings heading to Semaca and it was in need of people. The choice made for her, she applied for transfer and was accepted. After arriving, she applied to Nocturne wing and did her best to settle in.
Watching first her little sister and then very recently her brother bond to a lovely pair of whers, she could not be more proud and while doing her duties as a rider, she makes time to see them and her other family as much as possible. Lately.. she has began to feel the desire to have a family of her own and hopes that someday she might meet that perfect person to help her achieve that dream.
