No one would believe that Obiwan of blue Obivask was directly descended from Wherleader Zeara. From the scruffy beard that doesn't quite know what its doing to the shaggy curls that just barely brush his shoulders, Obiwan looks... Well, not a mess, but certainly not like he grew up with any sort of decency. The man's a menace with blue eyes and a devilishly disarming grin. He trends towards nondescript brown clothing, rarely donning anything else. Why bother? His loose fitting clothing allows a free range of movement, and the utterly forgettable colors let him blend into the background until he chooses to stand out.

PERSONALITY:

It should be odd for one person to be both a shameless flirt and to bear the epithet 'The Negotiator'. Surely, there should be some sort of dichotomy there. But Obiwan is skilled at getting the best outcome of a situation, and he is not above flattery. He considers sparring to be a prelude to courtship, and some of his best lovers came from his once enemies.

HISTORY:

Quigon of green Quigosk and Zeara of bronze Zearask were a formidable pair of guards. Quigon was not a rule breaker, but he had a habit of bending the rules to suit his own code of honor. And Zearask was terribly fond of Quigosk, winning her Runs time and time again. It was almost inevitable that the two should reproduce. Zeara's first child was spoiled a little more than subsequent children, but not for long. Quigon transferred to another Hold, and Obiwan went with him.

Obiwan was used to having his father's more or less full attention, so when a trip to a small hold saw Quigon giving special attention to a little boy named Anakin, Obiwan reacted poorly. He had time to regret his attitude, though, when a later skirmish with the Holdless left Obiwan with a rebonded green, a traumatized little boy, and an aching hole in his heart. Quigon's final words had been to bind a promise from Obiwan - to train the boy. Obiwan couldn't let Quigon down like that. So with the newly renamed Obigosk, he went from student to teacher.

Along the way, Obiwan and Anakin became friends. They had certain traits in common, even if Obiwan had never taught anyone before. The friction between them became difficult at times, coming to a head when a stint at Fort Hold reintroduced Anakin to an heir to a hold, Padme.

Boga's egg was gifted to Obiwan after a particularly favorable negotiation between a small cothold and a trader's caravan.

It wasn't terribly long after Ventress moved into Obiwan's quarters that Obiwask changed his name to Obivask. He claimed it was a necessary change. Obiwan nearly had a heart attack. And Ventress? Ventress would never admit how much it meant to her.

Obivask is an elegant looking blue. He's sleek, built for speed and agility more than power or strength. A medium-dark blue, he is far from unblemished. His rear legs bear horizontal striping of a shade nearly black, and a stripe of a bright, pure blue follows his spine from his hips to his head. These markings are marred by several scores, including one over the left side of his ribs. His tail has a gash cut out of it, a perfect replica of the tunnelsnake's mouth.

PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY:

Obivask is not a patient wher. He wants what he wants, and he wants it now. He is a devotee of instant gratification, and Obiwan is essentially his only impulse control. His only saving grace is that he is not also a hotheaded wher, because that would be disaster. He is not willing to go to any lengths to get what he wants, just what's reasonable. Well. Reasonable for him.

That isn't to say that Obivask has no good qualities. When he's working, he and Obiwan make a great team. He's observant, and makes good backup for Obiwan while he's being charming. His commentary is usually dry, not always witty, but generally useful. He doesn't make friends easily, but when he decides someone is family, he'll add their desires to his own. After all, it takes more than one to prompt results.

Cody has not lived a safe life, and the proof of that is written across his hide. Most vivid is across one eye, which is scarred dramatically. He retains most of his vision. Along with the scar on his eye is an obvious score that runs from the base of his neck to his left wing joint. His hide is more dulled than dark, without any particular highlights. The exception is along his belly, where he shades rather dramatically to a light blue.

PERSONALITY:

Cody is a stickler for detail. He is a practical fire lizard, not given to flights of fantasy. It's easy to overlook the typical blue stereotypes for him, because he fills so few of them. He regularly steals the entourages of various metallic fire lizards for some adventure or another. You'll find him most often around the young whers in the area, presiding over their care like a particularly imperious wherlingmaster.

FULL APPEARANCE:

With a color range that swings from a dramatic, dark green to a bright, springtime hue, Boga is hard to miss. Additionally, she has a few dramatic features that break up her other coloring. She has father markings, as if a reptile's scales had been replaced with oversized feathers. On the rest of her body, the markings are just a lighter shade of her main color, but her head is further marked by a bluer shade of green. Her thin tail is very long, the better to wrap around Obiwan's neck as he squires her around.

PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY: Boga is a thinker. She's much more independent than most domestic fire lizards, and a little more skittish. She has to make a real effort to spend time with any human other than her own, and she never stays long. Movement startles her, and she will never drowse in the company of dragons.
