FULL APPEARANCE:
Zenith is a very tall and well built young man that clearly does not miss daily exercise. He has slightly tannish skin, dark brown eyes that border on almost black and thick ink black hair with a slight waviness to it. He keeps his hair cut sensibly short and often musses it up by running his fingers through it. He has full cupid's bow lips and almond shaped eyes with longer lashes. His nose is a bit bigger than he would like but it frames the angular shape of his face in a visually pleasing way.
Clothing wise, he prefers earth tones and muted greens, natural colors and strategically sound for blending into surroundings. He often is well kept and detests being dirty and will change an entire shirt over a fleck of dirt.

Zenith is calm and composed man and is often quite serious when it comes to goals, tasks and organization. He possesses a calm demeanor that makes him easily approachable and will help someone if he can without hesitation, often electing the more logical approach to a solution, rather than take a calculated risk. He enjoys numbers and organizing things into proper categories and often when stressed, he starts counting in sequences until he finds some inner calm or at least brings himself to a place of tolerant stress levels.
Despite being a very logical person, he has very little patience for anything that does not benefit himself or someone around him in a positive way and often can be seen as cold or self centered.. which he absolutely is. He tends to put himself and his goals ahead of anything and anyone else and won't hesitate to break a few eggs to make an omelet if its the most direct way to his goals.
He also utterly detests physical affections and will duck back from any attempts to hug or touch him, save for healers. Only them because he logically knows if he is wounded, they have to do so to treat him. The idea of intimate relations also puts him off and he will do what he can to avoid it entirely.

HISTORY:
Zenith was the first born child to his rider parents and in the usual tradition, was given to the creche to raise. While over time he had other siblings, he rarely saw his parents, as it always seemed they were on the go, only visiting long enough to check on his progress. This really didn't phase him as he was by this point fascinated with tactics and strategies and enjoyed playing games of such, finding threadfall stratagems to be more appealing than fantasy style games as a young lad. This tendency bled into any games he played with other children as well.
When he was 14 years old, he decided he wanted to follow in the path of his parents, namely because what better way to see firsthand the tactics and strategy of combating threadfall then to be right in the thick of the action yourself? When he was of age, he presented himself to the candidate master and joined candidacy.
Despite his best efforts, his first standings ended with no impression. Discouraged but not about to give up, he threw himself harder into his efforts, soaking in all the knowledge he could get his hands on to keep himself from surrendering to frustration and despair. There was only one goal, one thing he needed to do. While standing for a clutch at age 17, he watched his peers impress many fine dragons and as the final egg cracked, he turned away, figuring this was just another disappointment. Irritation and frustration filled him and he wanted to scream... until a small head nuzzled his leg.
Looking down, he met a pair of eyes that were alive with a kaleidoscope of color. It did not hit him at first until she spoke, her voice almost motherly.
" Do not doubt yourself so much, Zenith. I am Kerakeiath and I choose you."
Taking to his dragon like a fish to water, the pair bonded very quickly as Zenith found her calming personality refreshing but she would nudge him along when he was being foolish and right his course. When they graduated from weyrlinghood, he moved to High Reaches, deciding to leave his home and family behind and spread his own wings, so to speak. After arriving and settling in, he joined the Stormlight wing and indulged himself in threadfall combat and the study of how the threads worked, the methods to effectively dispatch of them... all the things one might expect of a mind of a strategist. Comfortable in his lot in life and not seeking out further ambition at this time, he observes the political climate with intense interest, waiting for his moment to make his mark. High Reaches will know his name.. somehow.
