FULL APPEARANCE: Luisa is a 19-year-old young woman with a significantly more muscular build compared to her peers . She has light tan skin, hazel eyes, and brown hair that hangs just a few inches below her shoulders. She often keeps tied up in a bun for practical purposes, letting it down in her alone time or durring gathers. She wears a simple white, short-sleeved shirt and a long indigo skirt. That is, when she isn't in her candidate robes or uniform.
PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY: Luisa is one of the strongest and most reliable member of the Hold from which she was born. Hardworking and determined, both her family and the people of the hold rely on her for her manual labor. In turn, Luisa greatly appreciates that she can be of significant contribution to the other hold members, and those around her, as this is how she finds joy in her day to day life. She is an unselfish woman, as she happily enjoys helping others whenever she can, and will take the task on with a smile. Luisa has a high level of tolerance for physical labor, as well as the rambunctious nature of children. In contrast to her imposing appearance, Luisa is relatively quiet and doesn't enjoy being the center of attention. Finding she prefers to pass the spotlight onto someone more willing to take it. She has a taste for things that can be considered cute or childish.
Despite being strong and reliable, Luisa secretly feels burdened by the pressure of fulfilling everyone’s demands, and would feel insignificant if she cannot contribute the way other need of her. Luisa can become very dependent on her physical strength, and willingness to help. and that without it she believes she is nothing. She also feels like she always needs to be strong, able and willing to complete what she needs to carry or burden. Luisa is willing to hide her feelings in order to follow the wishes of others, believing that it is her duty to do what others tell her, although she also expresses a desire to be able to relax and not have to bear the "crushing weight" of everyone's expectations her time to relax is far and few between. Although heavily stressed, Luisa keeps all of her struggles to herself, as she is prone to self depreciation.

BIRTHPLACE: A minor hold her family helped to establish, somewhere in the middle of nowhere.
HISTORY:
Luisa was and is the second daughter of Julieta and Agustin. In the early years of her life, Luisa lived in the hold that comprised most of her close family unit. With the odd holdless comprising the rest. As a child Luisa could be seen helping around the hold; Prone to taking on chore after chore, never really stopping. Often taking on more tasks than would have otherwise been given to her, always lending a hand when other children felt they couldn't do theirs. This was often done without her parents knowledge as it was a well kept secret among just the children. "Luisa can do it." While her parents saw her as a very hard working and dependable daughter they encouraged this behavior, seeing it as valuable to the hold. Never truly seeing how much pressure this put on Luisa's day to day life.
When she turned 12 it was an almost obvious choice, in her parents eyes, to send Luisa to apprentice under a mastersmith to help work the bellows of metalcrafting. Seeing this as a great boon to the hold and family, message was quickly sent out to the crafthall about having Luisa sent out to apprentice under a smith. The returning message was indeed a yes, as Luisa was sent away to Semeca Weyr as an apprentice, to one of the older weyr's smiths.
Luisa found the work hard and grueling, though she enjoyed the labor the smith often gave her. True to her home back in the hold, Luisa often found herself taking on more tasks and chores than she was originally given. Always helping out fellow smiths and apprentices with their own work. Weather they asked out of necessity or to get out of general labor. This however had not gone unnoticed by the smith. Which in turn has allowed her a little more give on social events going on within the Weyr. She currently works hard as an apprentice smith, eager to attend the various events the Weyr has in store.
