HISTORY:Thread began falling from the sky when his little sister Roe was born. Traveling became risky during the warmer months. The caravan took shelter in the rocky Holds and cotholds when the deadly strings began drifting, only venturing out once the threat had passed for the moment - although now they began dealing in additional stores of numbweed and medical supplies.

5 turns later, the caravan would introduce Aleksei's brother Osoric into the world.

And in another 3 turns, plague would cripple Pern. Aleksei was 14 at the time, and bore witness to many of their caravan falling ill and passing away from disease - including his own grandparents Kaian and Aryn. Despite needing supplies and marks to keep going, the caravan decided it was best to keep away from large settlements and, therefore, dodge the involuntary culling of their own through the contagion. They sought refuge in an uninhabited (and rather inhospitable) system of caverns in the mountain range between Telgar and Igen Weyr, eking out their survival with hunting and foraging until the threat of sickness passed.

Supplementing their travels with marks earned through sales at Gathers and the like, their caravan continued throughout - never really stopping to rest unless one of their own was ill, expecting a child, or the weather was determined to thwart them. Stopping through Ruatha Hold when Aleksei was on the cusp of turning 22, the lad bedded a harper lass who would bare his first son - Heires. He fathered a second to a farmhand in Crom when he was 24 - a bubbly boy named Kove. Aleksei never stayed long to care for them, but he always made certain to send goods - clothes, toys, marks, and other goodies - to the mothers of his children by way of courier.

In 2774, the caravan's pathway brought them to Harper Hall, whereupon Aleksei was Searched out by a Fort Weyr dragon. He stood for Gold Ustreilith's clutch and Impressed to Blue Amishuth, earning himself the honorific of A'ksei and permanent residency of the Weyr while leaving the caravan in his parents' (and younger siblings') capable hands.

A'ksei has since sent invitations to Liira and Jaswyn - his former bedmates and mothers of his young children - for a life within Fort Weyr, although they have yet to accept the offer.

Amishuth is not thrilled with the idea of having toddlers hanging off of him. Or so he says. (Honestly, he may be a little excited.)
