He knows he’s full of himself and fully embraces it. He’s destined for great things, after all. Back handed compliments are his typical go to, being quite unable to simply say something nice about another person without a critique. He means well, honest! Honesty is the best policy, after all, though the fact that one can be too honest completely escapes him. Truly, he tends to have the best interests of others at heart (especially if it’s beneficial to him in some way), even if he’s mean about it.

He doesn’t care what others think and uses it as an excuse to say what he likes without taking into consideration what this could do to his reputation and credibility. He has a mask to maintain at all times if he is going to be the greatest so there can be no cracks. If anyone were to see his compassion for injured animals or his fondness for children, among other things, he just wouldn’t be taken seriously. Not that he ever seems to take anything seriously, but that’s part of the facade. Few people have experienced the “real” Heincourt and he plans for it to stay that way. He won’t end up as nobody farmers like his parents, not if he has anything to say about it.
