HAIR: Prematurely white with black streaks still leftover, cut short and swept back out of his face. Moderate growth of a well trimmed beard which is black fading into white as well. Body hair is and always has been pale and minimal.

Eldest son alongside twin brother Darion- but the smaller of the two.
Darion and- at the time, Matteo- were teens before their sister Ceria came by surprise. Ceria and Darion are named exclusively after their parents. As Matteo was a surprise, he inherited his late uncle's namesake since he too had been a twin alongside their mother but had been born sickly unlike Matteo.

Darion and their father lacked much care for Matteo- Darion for jealousy of the frailer brother's attentions, Draceon for suspicion that the boy was not his own ilk. Maria gave all three of her children all the love she could manage but eventually the tensions would come to a head between the family's men.

Darion calls Matteo out to fight and the two are egged on by a frustrated Draceon. Ceria, too young to intervene, ran to get her mother back at the house but both would return too late to intervene. Darion all but kicks Matteo's head in. It's while he's still recovering from this fight, living with relatives, kicked out of his home for the loss, that Matteo encounters his first dragonrider- and they were on search.

Matteo was searched and impressed blue Feth not too long after. A visit home after turns of hard training was met with grim acceptance of his new life and title; M'teo.

Darion is resentful but feigns respect. Ceria is inspired and longs to follow in M'teo's footsteps as a rider herself someday. Maria is just relieved her boy is actually alive, not that anyone had told her otherwise. Draceon, however, attempts to challenge his wayward son, to suggest that M'teo owes them for the circumstances which had led to his impression.

This upsetting encounter was the last time M'teo ever visited his parents' homestead. Later he would receive visits from his brother and sister- the former only there as escort for Ceria and to remind M'teo of their father's demands and how he's 'entirely neutral and just playing runner'.

M'teo maintains a good relationship with his now adolescent sister Ceria and has been seeking an opportunity or excuse to bring her to live at the Weyr someday. His brother is tolerated at an arm's length. He longs to see his mother before her eventual passing and dreads missing out on saying goodbye without drama.

Almost too green for a blue, but too big to be a true green either. Lean and narrow around the waist, but prone to bloating that away after a meal. He feels feminine when speaking but not enough so that he's mistaken for female.
PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY: A bit dim, but very positive and friendly with an aggressive streak during mating flights. To his rider, doe eyed and fawny. Likes being called on with cute pet names and even tries to make up his own for people or dragons he loves- regardless of their reception in turn.
