FULL APPEARANCE:
Jetsam is a very slim and tall young man. He looks nearly identical to his brother, Flotsam, except he parts his hair to the left side of his face. He has short black hair with part of it being longer than the rest and olive green eyes. He tends to wear neutral colors and tends to keep himself presented as very neat in what he wears. He has a light scar on his wrist where a canine bit him when he was younger.

PERSONALITY:
Jetsam is someone who wears their heart on their cheek no matter the situation. He tends to be calm for the most part and often speaks on a polite, but distant manner. He often speaks with a silver tongue as well. He likes to keep people at a distance, only opening himself to being friendly with two people, one of them being his brother. He doesn't tend to care for other people's emotions. Because of this, he can tend to be a bit cold to people if they're hurt about something.
He has little to no tolerance or patience for other people when it comes to their efficiency. If someone is taking forever with something, he will bring it up and speak in a sharp tone. Along with this, if he thinks there is a better, more efficient way of doing something, he will likely do that instead of his instructions. However, this can cause for him to make mistakes in his work due to him skipping steps he finds aren't important.
He shares a mischievous side to himself similar to Flotsam, however. He is fond of pulling pranks on other people. Along with this, he has a fondness towards plants, especially mushrooms. He loves growing them more than any other plant and can spend hours at a time tending to them.

Jetsam was born first out of a pair of twins. Their parents were beyond excited when they were born. The pair of holdfolks had tried for turns, and they felt like they had been blessed to have a pair of twins.
The twins really had no need for anything. Their parents had plenty to support both of them. Jetsam seemed much more reserved than his brother. He did play with the other children, but he seemed to honestly prefer being alone for the most part. In fact, it seemed that he enjoyed talking to adults more than children his own age, especially the old wherhandler. He loved listening to her stories of fighting thread.
However, Jetsam seemed to enjoy plantlife more than anything else and, thus, he quickly began to train as a farmer. Jetsam was all too happy to train as a farmer, working diligently. This was something he was truly passionate about and it showed, the young man spending most of his time training under his uncle. However, he did run into trouble at times when he would skip steps or get annoyed at said uncle for going over something repeatedly. He just didn't think that his mentor wasn't being efficient enough and this did cause for him to have problems at time
Eventually, their lives would end up changing, perhaps for the best. At nineteen turns, the twins had decided to gone for a walk. Neither of them could have ever guessed how eventful this walk would be. The two would come across what appeared to be an abandoned wher nest. Jetsam was alarmed at this, kneeling down. He quickly told Flotsam to go and get the wherhandler, choosing to stay behind to watch the eggs.. or watch for any signs of their mother returning a safe distance away.
As the older wherhandler arrived, he was able to confirm his suspicions of the nest being abandoned. However, when it came to the eggs, he wasn't sure of what to do. The older wherhandler had two whers, thus being unable to bond with an additional wher. Jetsam nearly jumped out of his skin when Flotsam suggested that Jetsam and him could take the eggs and the older wherhandler could train them. He was a bit annoyed at his brother for that, but he did agree with Flotsam's logic. After all, both of them had been interested in whers and dragons at a young age, but hadn't been searched. It was decided, though, that the twins would take the wher eggs and receive training from the older wherhandler.
Tsask would hatch after her clutchmate that night, Jetsam following the instructions given to them and pricking his thumb to blood the wher. The wherlet seemed really happy to be around him, something that admittedly made Jetsam laugh.
He felt a bit overwhelmed at times, though he did his best to hide it. Training to become a wherhandler was something he had never expected. This also raised another issue. Jetsam was perfectly happy to be a farmer, but now, due to whers being nocturnal, he had a different sleeping schedule. However, during his training, he ended up hearing about Semaca Weyr and would hear stories of journeymen with whers training in a squad. While he was not a crafter by any means, this sounded like a perfect situation for him and, after talking to his brother and finishing his training as a wherhandler, he was off to Semaca Weyr.
Once they arrived, the two ended up joining Chopin Squad, the same squad Jetsam had heard stories about. Jetsam enjoyed working in the squad, using the skills he learned while training under his uncle to good use. He would also eventually befriend a pirate named Alun with his brother, the two becoming close friends to him.
