BASICS

NAME: P'ina (Elided; formerly Palandrina)
GENDER: Female
PRONOUNS: she/her
ORIENTATION: Pansexual with a female lean

BIRTHDATE: Late Winter 2741
AGE: 32 as of Late Summer 2774
LOCATION: High Reaches Weyr
OCCUPATION: Wingrider
WING: Stormlight Wing

APPEARANCE
EYES: Dark Brown
HAIR: Dark Brown
HEIGHT AND BUILD: 5'3", curvy.
PLAY-BY: made with heroforge
FULL APPEARANCE: P'ina has an incredibly short stature, at 5'3", but with plenty of feminine curves; as well as this, her body and facial language is always incredibly expressive. Her skin is a warm, light brown, and her eyes are a darker brown - she's fairly attractive, save for the fact she's got a pretty big scar across her face. Her dark brown - almost black - hair is thick and long, with a slight wave to it. She likes to be fashionable, and her sense of dress is often as fancy as Pern's resources will allow.

PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY: P'ina is almost certainly someone with a lot of grace and panache; she exudes charisma through the roof, and enjoys egregious flirting with almost everyone she meets. She is confident, but almost certainly so confident that it gets to the point of pure arrogance - she is also vain, both in appearance and in personality. She is loud, proud, and loves herself; and isn't afraid to be honest about that, no matter how full of herself it makes her sound. She has a tendency to lose herself in her own posturing and self-aggrandising that she forgets what she was actually doing in the first place, getting distracted from the job by an internal monologue of 'look at how great I am!'. As well as this, she doesn't take responsibility for her own failings, she's under the impression that she's great at everything she does, so when she does mess up - clearly it's someone else's fault, and she will argue tooth and nail that she couldn't ever fail at what she does. Not only is she incredibly argumentative, but also competitive and confrontational. Everything is a challenge, or a debate, and she won't back down.

P'ina is brave and optimistic, and will take on any task, always willing to try everything once - however, she does have a tendency to call out others who aren't quite as confident, even if her intention is encouragement for people to try new things and toughen up, it can definitely eke into the territory of rudeness and putting people on the spot. As well as this, she almost never considers the risks of what she's about to do, thinking something can only possibly go well. However, besides that, she will talk to anyone, be positive and encouraging, and views most people as a friend, to some degree; she has a good heart and good intentions even if they're often buried in self-praise. She has a good sense of humour, and thinks almost everything is funny. While she is wise, and can give good advice - she has a strong sense of what is 'the best way' to do something (and if it's not, she'll believe it's the best way); her academic intelligence is not great, and what brains she has, she uses to make her language sound poetic and flowery as best as she can, exaggerating everything and making everything sound more beautiful than it is.

BIRTHPLACE: A cothold beholden to Telgar Weyr.
HISTORY:
Palandrina was born at a cothold beholden to Telgar Weyr, the first child of her parents - and she was thoroughly doted upon, constantly told even from infancy that she was loved. Three turns down the line, they had a second child - and she got on well with her sister; another three turns passed and a third sister showed up. Even from age six, while her parents doted on all of their kids equally - she knew she had a certain level of responsibility to uphold, being the oldest. Two more turns, and she now had a baby brother; another two more, another brother. By this point she was ten, and starting to realise she would have to fight for her parents' love among all these children; she became cocky, and confident, and would lord over the rest of her siblings that she was the oldest and therefore the smartest and the prettiest and the most important. Her parents, though not exactly wanting to crush her dreams, wanted her to swing in the direction of 'you're the oldest, therefore you have to set an example and be responsible' - and of course, to top it all off, when she was thirteen, they had one more child. Six children in one house meant that the parents' love would be spread even thinner, for they didn't want to play favourites, and while the siblings all got on - Palandrina still made it clear she was the oldest, and wanted the others to heed her word and her wisdom.

At age fifteen, in 2756, she was Searched - this elated her. It wasn't so much that she wanted to be rid of her family, for she adored them; but, at her age, she was suffocating, ever so slightly. She loved her siblings, but being in the constant company of five kids got exhausting for someone who was way into her teenage years. She was sure they'd be Searched too, eventually! Plus, she was intrigued about these new surroundings that a Weyr may bring. She became a Candidate, and for the most part, even if it was rigorous, she enjoyed it. She always found something that she could brag about being the best at, even if it was something like being the best at doing the dishes. Multiple hatchings passed, as did many turns, and over and over again... impression did not come to her as quickly as it came to so many others. She started to question why a dragon hadn't picked her, when she felt like she was doing everything right - of course she was making mistakes, she wasn't exactly a perfect candidate, but she thought she was great at it and that's what mattered in her opinion.

She was 23 when she finally impressed to Eith, an absolutely stunning garnet that had a penchant for words and pretty language; she refused to accept that she just wouldn't impress, one of these days, but in the end, she did. Weyrlinghood passed by, and after graduating she stayed at Telgar for some turns, reconnecting with her family briefly in the mean time; yet, she bid them farewell once more in 2767, when she moved to High Reaches. She'd heard that their gold had died, and thus the Weyr needed all the help they could get. Sure, they allowed greens to clutch, but she wanted to feel like a hero for a moment, feeling like she'd helped out. Not only that, but High Reaches, while not a massive change in climate from Telgar, was still a little nicer and less cold. Not warm, by any means, but not freezing.

She settled in at High Reaches, getting used to the flow of things here. She was doing fine, for the most part - at the worst, she'd had an accident in Threadfall that left her with a scar across her face - not that it exactly bothered her, much, because she fully convinced herself it could not have possibly been her fault. Eith hadn't clutched, but by the time 2770 rolled around, a gold from a donated clutch hatched! Aldoeith's time at High Reaches was short, however, yet all was not lost as her maiden clutch provided Galdeneth to the Weyr. She was neutral on whether or not High Reaches should have a gold, for the most part; she'd grown up in a Weyr with the traditional structure, so she was already used to golds existing. Though she'd wished to see her family, some more; she decided she liked High Reaches, and stayed there - namely, it was still less cold than Telgar - but she routinely sent them letters, back and forth.

There is simply nothing worse than knowing how it ends.

BASICS
NAME: Eith
BIRTHDATE: Late Summer 2764
AGE: 9 as of Early Fall 2773

CLUTCHING

CLUTCHING: No
RUNS/FLIGHTS: 3

APPEARANCE
LENGTH: 45 ft
HEIGHT: 11.25 ft
WINGSPAN: 67.5 ft
COLOR: Garnet
HEX CODE: #830b1e
FULL APPEARANCE: Eith is a boldly colored garnet, large and grand. Much of her height comes from her legs, which seem even longer than they already are thanks to the rippling color that starts at the root of her wings and goes down to her feet. Her wings in contrast have a lacy pattern in a much lighter red. From her wingtips to her ankles she graduates darker, while her forelegs, neck, and head are left blank in contrast.

PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY:
Eith likes drama. Whether it be a grand entrance or a dramatic statement, she prefers to go for whatever will make the biggest impact. According to her, that makes her a good leader. She does have a grasp of strategy - has to, in order to get the validation that her theatrics are aimed towards gaining - but her plans are, well. Bad. Bad is a good word for them, because she does not look far enough ahead to plan for pitfalls, and she does not consider that a downfall.

Speaking of words, she likes them! Eith is by nature a verbose dragon, and she likes to use her rider as a testing grounds for new vocabulary. Every new word is treated with awe and delight, and while she doesn't quite have a 'word of the day', she does cycle through favorites. This means she does not always use these words correctly, and no, that doesn't bother her either.
