FULL APPEARANCE: L'ouis is lean, with a harsh look in his eyes. Rarely, you can see a spark of kindness in that harsh expression. He has tan skin and brown hair that is often slicked back and kept in a professional look. He often wears shades of greens as part of his wardrobe. He often has a strong posture, standing up straight despite the situation.

PERSONALITY:
L'ouis is often a stoic individual. He believes rules need to be followed and those who break the rules must pay the price. Even if it was for a justifiable reason, he will ensure justice is done. He feels like he must give off an aura of perfection, all the time. It doesn't matter if he's with his friends; he must always give off an aura of perfection. He also pushes himself to the point of exhaustion. He believes he has to be the strongest, the best. Because of him, he is very judgmental towards himself. He puts a lot of pressure on himself and, as a result, it can cause him to have a short fuse, which results in a short temper.

However, because of this, he can be arrogant. He believes he is always right. He often acts superior to others and can be condescending to a lot of people. Even if he befriends someone, he can still sometimes be condescending, as if he views himself more highly than them.

He also finds a hard time trusting others. Because of this, he rarely forms connections with others. It takes a long time for him to form connections and friendships with peuple. He is also a pessimist. He doesn't believe things will get better quickly and that nothing will really change.

Even though he is often stoic, he is a soft-hearted and kind person. He is sympathetic of others in trouble and will help them as it's just the best thing to do. He will not break any rules to do this, of course.

HISTORY:
L'ouis had lived his entire life at High Reaches. He had been adopted as a child by an older man named Ogma, who lost his weyrmate due to sickness. He was a strict man, who expected perfection from his son. It was clear to he cared greatly for the boy, but he expected perfection and a lot from L'ouis, including the other impressing a bronze.

After all, bronze meant he was better than a majority of riders. Bronzes were always praised in High Reaches, while Blues and Greens were abused by others. L'ouis hated the aspect of this, though. This caused for them to fight on occasion as L'ouis grew up.

This grew worse in 2760 when Golre had declared war on Fort. Several chromatic dragons had fled because of this and his father went into battle. Ogma had returned, but he was mad that Golre had been killed. As High Reaches changed (for the better as L'ouis thought), he continued to talk about Golre as the 'good old days'.

As it neared L'ouis's 15th turn, Ogma told L'ouis that he expected him to impress a bronze. However, L'ouis had no plans on impressing a bronze. The two ended up fighting and L'ouis decided to transfer to Fort Weyr as soon as he was able to. Within the first week of his candidacy, he has transferred to Fort Weyr. After all, there was a gold clutch hatching soon at the weyr.

While L'ouis had not expected to impress so soon, life felt differently. A dragon, a bit bigger than the other greens in the clutch, had hatched and crawled to him. Her name was Tomoeth and L'ouis felt a strong connection to her the first time he saw her. Sure, she was nowhere near the perfect dragon. Her legs were much more powerful and she had trouble flying straight. However, she was perfect to him.

As they trained together for the next two years, L'ouis thought about.. his father. He felt that.. maybe he had been too harsh and rash when he had decided to come to Fort Weyr. These thoughts persisted until he finally decided to return to High Reaches after graduation.

Ogma had changed for the better, having missed his son and reevaluating what he had done wrong. While he still viewed bronzes as being highly, he did not view greens and blues as he had once had. That was a relief to L'ouis, due to his dragon being a green.

A year later, two eggs from Fort had disappeared and reappeared at High Reaches. That left a sour taste in his mouth, but he decided not to leave. While he had enjoyed staying at Fort, High Reaches had been his home since he was a child.

Even if he had been angry at his father, this was still the place he called his home.

FULL APPEARANCE: Tomoeth is strong legs and a strong kick. She's not a very smooth flier, and it is much easier for her to kick someone than it is to fly. That doesn't stop her from trying. Her wings are narrow and her face is round. Her hind feet are larger than they should be, which might lead to some teasing from her siblings. She is a bright, wonderful green all over, that is hard to miss from any distance. She is beautiful. Her markings are a bright, yellow-green. They go over her face like tracing out a crown, and tracing in lines over her neck and forelegs. Her hind left leg has a yellow 'sock', that curls up around her thigh to an 'S' shape. Her wingsails have the same bright yellow-green over them like a banner.

PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY: A tomboy through and through, Tomoeth is not going to let anything get her down. She'll fight with the best greens and has no problems being more rough and tumble. She is kind, but she is also viciously protective. She is also incredibly stubborn. If she has her mind set to do something, then she will do it or probably die or get hurt trying. There's nothing that will stand in her way except herself. She's close with Jirayath, if only to keep him in line. Sakuyath is her best friend, however, and she feels the other is in need of someone always keeping an eye on her. She's protective and she likes it this way.

To her rider, Tomoeth is that same protective if a little pushy friend. She will encourage them to get out and exercise, to do physical work and not slack off. If there's anything she could hate more than Thread, it's laziness. She doesn't take being too tired for an answer, until she is too tired to actually do her own work. She does doubt herself sometimes, and wonders if she is or can ever do the right thing. She wants to do good, but covers her insecurities with her bravado and her powerful personality.

Voice: Tomoeth's voice is strong and bold, notably feminine without being anything terribly special.
