FULL APPEARANCE: Amet is decently tall, just above average, yet not astoundingly so - her body type is even less remarkable, she is proportionate, with a very average, shapeless build with no curves or muscle. On the contrary, she has a very pretty face, with wide, deep brown eyes and full lips. Her skin is a deep shade of brown, and her hair is almost black, worn short, similar to a pixie cut. She wears warm, yet fashionable clothes in bright colours, mostly opting for the warmer shades such as reds, yellows, and oranges. Her left arm is completely paralysed and scarred due to Thread, hence why she often wears long-sleeved tops.

PERSONALITY:
Amet excels in both book smarts and wisdom, and studies deeply for things that interest her - her interests mainly lie in questioning how people work, and what her brother has aptly dubbed 'brain stuff'. She is simply fascinated by how the mind works, especially when it comes to dreams. However, she can sometimes come across as cold, blunt, or brutally honest; she doesn't see the point in dancing around the truth, even if it hurts people, and could come across as distant or uncaring. She doesn't believe in lying just to make someone feel better - she definitely thinks there are bigger problems in the world to be upset about! Despite her holding most of her emotions inside and always coming across as very calm and level-headed, she can be a very romantic person, and she will always treat her partner with all the love that she can give. She tends to reserve her feelings only for people she feels comfortable showing them to, and many people unfortunately do not get to that level for her as she has a hard time trusting people.

Amet's history has left her with a passion for taking joy in the little things in life - she developed a hobby for collecting things she thinks are cute or interesting, such as succulent plants or rocks. She has learnt over time not to take anything for granted, and is reasonably selfless despite her demeanour suggesting the opposite. She is confident and comfortable in herself, very rarely getting angry or stressed; she is also willing to help people out, as she believes that anyone can grow and change into a better person. Amet is well-spoken and keeps a professional stance - however sometimes this means she can oftentimes be too formal, and she is always very literal in the way she speaks. She is strong-minded, and knows herself well, however sometimes, she can often appear to be domineering or strict, and often believes her own views to be objectively correct. Despite this, she will always give other people a chance to voice their opinion, whether she agrees with it or not.

HISTORY:
Amet and her twin brother, Enet, grew up at High Reaches Weyr, born in the midst of the Interval War - yet their parents were weyrfolk, rather than riders. While their parents were involved in their lives, they were raised in a creche. Amet was very close to her brother, in fact, they were inseparable. When she was 13, Safvris, someone whom would later become her partner for life, transferred to the Weyr - they developed some light feelings for each other; Amet wasn't sure if it was just a silly teenage crush or something more. At 15, Amet, Enet and Safvris became Candidates, and did not enjoy their candidacy much - yet Impressed to Aith, Aibouth and Halaneth respectively after they turned 17.

However, as the twins both Impressed to Green dragons - life unfortunately started to get worse under Golre's rule. Traditionalists frowned upon them for their chromatic dragons - yet the bond between Amet and her friend and brother never died. They all agreed that while High Reaches Weyr was not a good place, and had its flaws; it was home, and they would never leave. They would stay vigilant, and hope that change would come to the Weyr in the future. She and Safvris finally confessed their love to each other once their weyrlinghood had ended; yet two turns after Impression, Amet was unfortunately severely injured by Thread, and nearly died. Luckily, she survived, but her left arm has been rendered scarred and useless - yet, she never gave up on riding. After this point, she took up a hobby in collecting random items she finds, to take joy in life's small treasures, as she put it. Over a decade later, after High Reaches declared war on Fort and Golre passed away, Amet and Safvris are still together, and she is still very close to her brother. She also, eventually, became Wingsecond of the Firestorm Wing once Myalla had advanced to Wingleader and Z'kon had transferred out of the Weyr, with much support from her brother and partner.

FULL APPEARANCE: Aith is quite striking, in more ways than one. For a green, she is quite large. She has a bulky, sturdy build, as well--muscular and powerful, without much room for movement. Her relative endurance and strength are better than a green usually has, but her maneuverability, speed, and flexibility suffer. That said, she is graceful, poised, and perfectly in control of her movements, considering how massive and burly she is. Her wings are flat and wide, but what they have in breadth, they lack in length. In color, she is a foresty hue of green, with markings in dark green and mint alike.

PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY: In all but color, Aith was hatched a queen. Ambition suits her; she wishes for rank, but in the meantime, she will satiate herself by leading in any way she can. For now, she bides her time, but does not hide her ambitions of being Queen of the World. Aith is both self-centered and overly confident, navigating her world with a sense of sureness that makes you wonder if you should bow to her. Despite her proud personality, Aith is not especially expressive. She rarely sounds sincere, rarely speaks on her true feelings--except with her rider. In fact, she is often sarcastic to the point of passive aggressive. Despite this, she cares strongly and fiercely about the safety, health, and wellbeing of those she considers under her protection...even if that doesn’t seem to be the case. She certainly prioritizes her loved ones, but all of Pern is under her protection.

Aith has the highest expectations of others--and if you don’t meet them, you are utterly incompetent. Most people are incapable, in her mind, and she must do things for them. Rather than teach a new skill, she will try to “care” for another by doing it for them. She often calls others idiots, and acts chilly, but she does mean well. Distant and insulting, despite her prim and proper queenly-attitude, she seems like a cold, uncaring dragon. However...she is incredibly loyal and protective, with a kind streak that only reaches her actions--certainly not her words. Others are looked down on, in a way, as less capable, but only because she cannot trust anyone except herself (and her rider). It is a good thing that she does not get attached easily, because she becomes very possessive of her loved ones. She will stand down by necessity, but it doesn’t mean she’d like it.

Despite the chilly personality she portrays, she has a strong, commanding personality. She borders on bossy--certainly not an attractive trait for a green to have, especially not in the past. Still, she is regal and keeps herself composed, preferring to speak eloquently. Her confidence is, in some ways, well-placed. She is intelligent and witty, with a sharp, sarcastic tongue--one that is often a tad too harsh. She is strict, and surprisingly traditional in many ways. Most greens should know their place. She is not most greens.


WHY ME: Unlike many of the other candidates at Aith's hatching, her bonded was not a total idiot. In fact, she was quite intelligent, which Aith appreciates. Amet has a power within her, and can be a leader as easily as Aith. Together, they will conquer; together, they will rule. Others need their guidance, doesn't she see? They will be formidable together. Amet is the only one that Aith trusts, the only one she can rely on. Aith doesn't like being known by others--but she trusts Amet with her soul, and is surprisingly open with her beloved. The two have some similarities, but Aith tries to foster ambition in others, while Amet offers some much-needed grounding.

MINDVOICE: Aith's voice is melodic and sweet, with lilting tones that hardly compliment her personality. Her mindvoice is naturally quiet, where others need to strain to hear her, but she raises it easily and often. She keeps her voice firm, and almost disdainful. It's a shame, because her voice is naturally pretty, but she keeps it as unexpressive and flat as possible. Sure, it has the potential to sound like music; she very actively avoids that.

PERSONALITY: Sugarcane is like an excited puppy. He is a friend, through and through. He is filled with energy, and while he may accidentally knock things over from time to time, he means no harm by it, and loves to give his bonded affection. He loves to meet new people and make new friends.
