K'enna is an average height woman with a curvy figure, as she has wide hips, a heart shaped face and big dark green eyes that seem full of a calm gentleness, like the surface of water on a calm sunny day. Her long blonde hair is a sunshine golden and often worn back in a bun or some form of updo. Her full lips are often curved into a smirk and her posture gives off a strong confidant air of a woman that is fearless and determined.
She dresses sensibly and casually, preferring looser fitting clothing when not on dragon back. When at work with Mikanoth, its often common riding leathers, breeches and lace up tops that would not get in the way with loose material flying about. She prefers neutral colors if any real colors and has one or two good gather dresses in white if she should ever have need for them.

K'enna may seem at first like somewhat nice person but rest assured, its a mask and one she wears to her own benefit because its what people want to see right? Honestly, she would be more content just not having to deal with daily foolishness. But even she has her limits and the moment she reaches the small tolerance threshold... the mask breaks and the real thorns come to bare.
A no nonsense sort of woman, she has zero patience for foolish questions and even less for foolish people. If she stands to find no purpose in interaction with someone, then she simply walks away or if annoyed enough, she delivers a scathing word to shut down the conversation and walks away. Overly emotional displays that have no logical place in a situation, blatant ignorance of what she feels should be common knowledge and laziness are a few of the fast track triggers that can tick her boxes for the illusion of the nice to fade.
Perhaps if you looked deeply enough or one was persistent enough to brave the thorn bushes that was her outer shell, you might find a woman who is actually very insecure and her own worst enemy and projects her own self loathing at others as a coping mechanism.
But good luck getting past the thorns, there are many. If lightning strikes and she does find someone worth the trouble, she will defend them loyally but she also will not support anything she does not herself believe in and will not be forced or swayed from her own morality. She also is doggedly stubborn and will stand her ground fiercely, putting her foot down when she must. Because she is never wrong, oh no, never wrong.

HISTORY:
Kanesenna was the first and only child born to a pair of riders at Ista Weyr as the result of a flight tryst. She was given to the creche to raise, as most children were of riders and had a fairly typical and uneventful upbringing. She was a calm and very rational child, not really the most imaginative and tended to be the quiet neutral voice amongst her peer group.
As she grew, she found that she had a low tolorance for a lot of things, emotional displays between others tended to make her irritable, especially if it was someone whining and crying about their life being unfair. She grew to dislike this and often made her distaste known and it got her into more trouble than it did to serve any real purpose.
Her mother left the weyr and transferred to Fort when she was around 16 turns and given that she didnt have much of a bond with her mother, she didn't think much of this. By this time her father had become weyrmates with another green rider whom she actually did like. The woman was kind, gentle and people often flocked around her when she spoke. She had a leader's ability and people seemed to respect her. This began to form an idea in the girl's mind. That if she pretended like her step mother acted. maybe then she could get the same respect, because surely others could see her potential.
During the first years of her father and stepmother's union Kanesenna was given a pair of fraternal twin siblings named Rayo and Aruhn, a sister and brother respectfully.
While she didn't get to see much of them, she did keep in touch with her father. She became a candidate when she was old enough and stood at a few hatchings, being passed up each time. Frustration began to cloud her mind and it was then she learned via letter that her father, stepmother and baby siblings were relocating to High Reaches to help with rebuilding efforts in the wake of Golre's fall. She then decided to transfer and follow him, figuring she might have better luck there than her home weyr.
At age 20, she stood for the Wonders of the Night Sky clutch and finally her luck changed, as a brilliant green hatched from her egg and made a fast line right for her and stood on her hind legs, pushing her forelegs against Kanesenna.
" I am here now, my Kanesenna. Hold on tight, we have a weyr to protect and your Mikanoth stands ready!"
Kanesenna, now K'enna, took her new baby dragon and soon her life became a whirlwind of weyrlinghood, learning what being a fledgling rider really meant. Many months of hard work, study, training and practice led to a fruitful graduation. But mere days after she became a full rider, her father passed away. She had felt a closer bond with her father after she impressed so when he passed the loss was felt keenly.
It took many months to move past where she could think about her father and not cry but her dragon's true wonderful nature helped her worth through things. Work fulfilled her and she and her dragon do their best for the weyr, wanting to see High Reaches become a better place, one day at a time. She also spend what time she could with her younger siblings, trying to influence them to her way of thinking, though it was not the most productive viewpoint.
She and Mikanoth enjoyed having work to do, and she was no stranger to getting her hands dirty and often would take jobs most would shy from and she found herself addicted to the thrill of productivity and the praise she would receive on a job well done, it feeding her ego. All she wanted was to see High Reaches soar to its full potential and to do that.. she needed to rise, to a position where she could influence things, her ambition knowing no limits.
