FULL APPEARANCE: Cater is a person of relatively average height, with green eyes and mid length orangey-red hair often left partially tied back. A couple long strands in the front fall to frame his face, with the rest left down being pulled behind his ears. His ears are pierced with simple small hoops, made of plain metal. He’s almost always sporting a grin on his face, often looking cheeky because of it. Cater is relatively fair-skinned, the type to burn easily and never really tan in the sunlight.
He’s pretty fashionable when it comes to clothing choice, preferring clothes that flatter his figure and his overall looks. He outright refuses to wear anything he perceives as ugly, and would sooner go naked than wear certain things.
PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY: Cater is a very friendly and easygoing person to be around, and he seems to always be socializing. He tries to get along with everyone, and has a knack for making friends- his eye for social situations is something special. He’s also got a knack for knowing what people want and need. While he doesn’t always know, he’s pretty good about being able to guess and give them what they want accordingly. He likes seeing people happy, and he likes being around others.
Cater isn’t the most ambitious person in the world, preferring instead to enjoy his life and live as stress free as possible. He has things he’d like to do, sure, but he’s not the kind of person to do anything to reach those goals. He’s decently intelligent, though this once again mostly manifests socially. Solving problems isn’t unusual of him, and mediating arguments between the people he knows is another skill of his.
He has trouble focusing on things he’s not interested in, which can cause certain lessons to become tedious. He’ll fidget, or daydream, or do anything other than actually focus on what he’s meant to be focusing on. He can also be something of an attention seeker, attempting to befriend the more popular people in the Weyr.

HISTORY: Cater grew up as the youngest of three siblings in a minor hold. Growing up, while he was loved, he tended to dislike his older sisters, who were always trying to gift him things that they wanted to use themselves, and not things he actually wanted. They tried to get him into a lot of things he didn’t like, which caused no small amount of animosity during their younger years. They were apprentice tailors, and because of their opinions on fashion had a tendency to make him redo his outfits if they thought he wasn’t cute enough.
While they weren’t trying to be mean intentionally, Cater wanted to get away from them. He’d never been interested in their craft, and didn’t want to be like his older sisters, who he didn’t get along with. He didn’t really have any grand plans in life, bouncing around various non specialized jobs without much rhyme or reason.
When he was 17 came his chance to put some distance between himself and his sisters. Having been scouted for candidacy, he had the chance to live his own life, without any unintentionally overbearing siblings around to make him do things. Leaping at the chance, he decided to take the opportunity, and ended up at High Reaches.
Upon reaching the Weyr he quickly came to realize how much different Weyr life was from hold life. Adapting took a little while, though he eventually adjusted to the lessons and chores that were vastly different from anything he’d experienced at home. Even the excitement of hatchings died down after the first one or two, though he still loved them and hoped to impress.
2 years later, he is now 19 turns and still trying to impress. Having recently reconnected with his sisters, their relationship has improved and they’ve all tried to be better at listening to each other’s needs and wants.
