FULL APPEARANCE: Sanvi is someone who holds her looks in high confidence. She’s pretty and knows it, and carries herself with a confidence to match her looks. Her hair is relatively long and brown, most of it pulled back into a simple knot at the base of her neck with one strand on either side left down to frame her face. Her eyes are a nice shade of brown, warm and welcoming. However, the rest of her facial expression often seems less than welcoming, an expression commonly known as resting b*tch face taking up residence on her face a large portion of the time.
She can sometimes come off as scary because of this, though she has no idea of it.
Sanvi is rather appreciative of form-fitting clothes that flatter her build, though if they’re not made with movement in mind she refuses to wear them. She tries to keep neat, though due to her own activeness will find herself with the occasional streaks of dirt and dust on her clothes and skin. This is quickly remedied when she notices it, but it isn’t always caught quickly.
PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY: For all that she looks scary at times, Sanvi is in fact a relatively friendly, if semi awkward, woman. She’s not very good at making friends as much as she might want them, managing to do far better at flirting with girls she thinks are cute than befriending interesting strangers. This is in part due to her resting facial expression, and in part due to her own inability to talk to strangers without accidental slip-ups in normal conversation. Flirting is something cheesy and a little silly for her, but casual conversation comes harder. She tends to accidentally offend people often, even when attempting to pay praise.
Sanvi is also someone who’s not good at sitting for extended periods of time. She has plenty of energy to spare, and tends to spend a lot of her time training and taking care of any extra tasks around the Weyr someone might need help with. If you need someone strong to lift something or lend an extra hand she’s your girl.
Sanvi rarely gets into the kind of mood where she’s genuinely angry, but when she does it’s best to run. This is mostly caused by threatening her siblings or Sanvisk, and when she’s in this kind of mood she wouldn’t hesitate to start a fight with whoever was responsible for threatening or harming her loved ones, if not outright attempt murder with help from Sanvisk if the being responsible were a wild beast. In this mood she tends to lose most, if not all, of her reason, to the point where she’d genuinely try to punch anything that came near her, even one of her brothers if she didn’t see them coming first. (And sometimes even if she did see them).

HISTORY: Sanvi was born the second child of what would eventually become a large weyrbred family. While she was raised as any weyrbrat, her parents were pretty involved in the lives of herself and her siblings, and their bond was encouraged to be as tightly knit as possible. When their parents weren’t around, Sanvi and Azrael tended to be the ones their younger siblings looked up to, the whole family coming to be about as close as could be expected of such a large one. They didn’t always get along as Sanvi grew up, of course, but loved each other still.
Azrael was the first to join candidacy, being the oldest, with Sanvi following only a couple years behind. While he’d opted for dual candidacy, she went straight into wher candidacy, wanting to be a handler like her mother. Two years later, she ended up with Sanvisk, a serious bronze she cared for attentively. Much like her, he couldn’t stay still for that long, and the two ended up working well together. Sanvi was the outgoing half of the pairing, and Sanvisk was the strong and silent one.
Throughout the years, more and more of her siblings joined candidacy and impressed, with only one choosing to remain as Weyrfolk. During this time, Sanvi and Sanvisk watched over them all, Sanvisk developing a reluctant fondness for his handler’s brothers. Sanvi’s mother was very proud of her handler daughter, and their father often boasted about how great their children were.
When Sanvi was 25, the family as a whole decided to transfer to Semaca, offering their rather large amount of manpower to the Weyr. Being a relatively new Weyr, the family had figured they could use some experienced riders, as well as the few candidates still remaining among the siblings to boost their numbers. Sanvi ended up joining the Pavane squad, the work they did enjoyable to both her and her beloved bronze. A year later, Sanvi has mostly settled into life at Semaca.
