FULL APPEARANCE:
Snake is just built strong. There isn’t an inch of body fat on the guy, he’s pure muscle. His shoulders aren’t super-broad, but they’re broad enough. If you saw him in a long coat, you might not think he’s muscle-y. But, put him in a shirt and make him roll up the sleeves? Or just shirtless? You’ll see. His jaw is covered with dark stubble the same color as his hair. Without his bandanna, it’ll swoop down into his eyes unless he styles it back, which he just doesn’t have time to do. He looks a little intimidating and older than he actually is, mostly because his face is either void of emotion or has a scowl on it.
He really doesn’t care what he wears, but always wears his bandanna almost always without fail. He usually ends up in a nice shirt, a leather jacket, dark pants and boots. Longer coats are used in the winter to keep warm.
PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY:
Snake is a soldier. With his calm and collected outer shell, he rarely shows any signs of fear even in the most extreme of circumstances. He keeps his emotions deep inside himself, which leads to him coming off as cold and uncaring. Despite this, Snake will occasionally show his great concern for others’ well beings, and he truly does loves life. He also has a secret flirty streak and a good sense of humor. However, he doesn’t like getting involved in other’s lives and has generally been a loner since birth.
Snake knows that friendship is worthwhile and that violence is not some glorious thing to be idolized. While he does work his hardest and always does the best he possibly can, he does not like thinking of himself as some sort of hero. He is quite humble, and, while he appreciate the sentiment, he doesn’t really like praise from fellow operatives. Snake also had a disdain for leaders, often thinking of them as if they were all corrupt. He is willing to risk his life during tough times if it means that people would be safe. He has an extraordinary amount of willpower to achieve any goals that he sets for himself. He’s good at planning strategies and seeing them go through, in that way, he’s quite smart.
He also loves dogs. He loves dogs so, so much.

HISTORY:
Born to two accomplished riders, David and his twin brother, Eli, had expectations to live up to. And, not even a full year after the twins were born came their younger brother, George. The three of them grew up more in the creche than they did with their parents, but they all knew that they were brothers. Days were spent thinking about achieving the expectations placed upon them by their less-than-present parents, leading to the fact that they all knew they would have to stand as candidates at one point or another.
As days past, the three got bored. Boredom meant coming up with nicknames for each other, Solid Snake for David, Liquid Snake for Eli and Solidus Snake for George. Often would they drop the Snake and use the adjective in front of the animal, but other times they would simply be called Snake. David found himself getting called Snake more than anything else, while most people knew Eli as Liquid, and George was... still George.
Snake and Liquid's 15th birthday came around and they began to stand as candidates, and George joined them after he as well turned 15. Snake gradually developed his distrust of leaders from his time Golre's reign, especially as a candidate. Two years passed and Snake was the first of the brothers to Impress to a dragon. A brown, small, longer than he was tall even from the second he hatched out of the egg. Emmerith, a shy little dragon, but he was his.
War came, he was still only a weyrling, but he knew that soon he'd end up joining if it went on any longer. But, it ended before he had to join. Both of his parents were lost to the fight, but the three had no real emotional attachment to them so it didn't hurt as much as it should have. Not too far after, Liquid Impressed to a very cryptic blue dragon and George to a cold white. With their new bondeds and the war over, the collection of three became six, but not for long. Soon after graduating weyrlinghood, George and Liquid transferred to Fort Weyr for a fresh start. Snake, not enjoying the idea of transferring to Fort of all places, was now alone, and he didn't mind.
He and Emmerith became good friends and, after an adjustment period, didn't mind the lack of his brothers. Snake adopted a puppy into his life and found out that, if anyone hurt her, he would probably kill everyone in the Weyr and then himself. A joke? Maybe, but if Sunny got hurt, Snake would be completely devastated.
Never really thinking that moving away from the Weyr would be an option from him, he never considered it. That was until Semaca came into existence. A place a ways away from his home of High Reaches with no history to speak of, a new clean slate. Weighing his options, Snake decided to take Emmerith and Sunny and transfer to the new Weyr.
