FULL APPEARANCE: Thalia is tall, standing at 6'5". Her body type can be described as slim, with not much in the way of curves or musculature. Her skin is very pale, with ice blue eyes; and her hair, cut in a way that compliments her face, is a darker blonde, thick and almost reaching her thighs in length, yet often pulled back in a loose ponytail. She often wears clothes that are warm and comfortable, most of the time in shades of black, grey and purple, mostly made out of hide, fur and leather.

In recent turns, Thalia's personality can be described as reserved and modest, yet increasing in her confidence, something of a contrast to how she used to be in the past. She has a good level of book smarts, and she has a way with words - an interest in poetry and songwriting helped her greatly with this. Despite this, she often tends to stumble over her words in stressful situations. She still struggles with anxiety, but nowadays, can cope with it a lot better than she used to. Unfortunately, this renders her paranoid a lot of the time, and tends to jump towards the worst possible conclusion if she is the one in the centre of the bad situation, and blows everything out of proportion. On the contrary - when she is not in the crossfire of the problem, she can be very rational and analyse a situation from a logical and realistic perspective. She is a lot more chilled around people she feels comfortable with and knows well, and can be surprisingly quick-witted when she feels comfortable.
Thalia is a very romantic person and tends to wear her heart on her sleeve a lot, putting a lot of priority and emphasis on her relationships. If she cares about someone, she will dote her entire life onto them. She has been described as overemotional, but, she is constantly improving on this and striving for growth. She has always been very open about her feelings, even if historically other people have taken discomfort to the fact she is prone to emotional breakdowns when she reaches her limit of stress. While she has much more control over her emotions than in her past, she still tends towards sharp spikes of anxiety and depression, which at times are a bit difficult to manage. Despite the fact that she cares deeply about her friends and always strives to put other people first, on occasion she can be selfish or only consider her own needs without realising it, or going the wrong way about helping people and unfortunately having the opposite effect. However, she is often quick to realise her own fault, and takes responsibility for her own actions, always willing to learn from her mistakes.

After her mother had died in childbirth, Thalia was brought up solely by her father, a farmer, who was firmly rooted in overly traditional values. He wanted his child to follow in his footsteps, as he always viewed men as providers, and women as their servants, and he always expected his child to take up traditional male roles in society. Unfortunately, he never cared much for dragons or protecting the Weyr. Thalia never quite matched the expectations of her father, as not only did he never accept her as a woman, he always saw her as weak due to her anxiety and depression, and only did things to make it worse. He would constantly shout her down, disappointed with her in every way possible, trying to make her feel bad for not being what he wanted. This pulled down her mental health astronomically - she felt as though she could never meet anyone's standard, and thus eventually felt like she had to push herself to absolute limits just to not feel like a failure.
Three turns ago, she was Searched and asked to be a candidate by a passing dragon and rider. She accepted and left home for the weyr. At the weyr, she practiced self-defense, continued her passions for poetry that she had to hide from her father, and researched the heroic acts of dragons, gaining an interest quickly. In that time she felt as though she started to take back her own personality rather than being the product of her father's wishes. Over time, she started socialising, and learning more about the world of dragons that her father dismissed. She has still not Impressed and continues to wait for her partner - however, she has recently Impressed to a golden flit.
