FULL APPEARANCE:
Cyr'a is decently tall, standing at 5'9", and has a runner's build. She often wears simple, practical clothing, but isn't afraid to spice it up with a hat or a scarf, from time to time. Her skin is on the lighter side, but with a healthy sun-kissed glow. Her hair is thick, black, and very long, with a full fringe; as well as this, she has huge green eyes, and is usually smiling, with a very confident and ready-to-take-on-the-world stance.

PERSONALITY:
Cyr'a's most notable trait is her confidence; she is encouraging and motivational, and is always willing to help and listen to people's issues, and see people do better and improve on themselves. As well as this, she is very optimistic, and believes that there is a positive angle to every situation; however, sometimes she believes that a problem just isn't a problem. Every cloud has a silver lining, in her opinion! Sometimes, she's just completely oblivious to when there's a problem. Unfortunately, she somewhat lacks in intelligence and has very little interest in academia. She thinks it is more important to learn through action and practical skills. She has a tendency to get interested in business that does not concern her, and will not hesitate to intervene in other people's arguments if she deems them unnecessary and getting out of hand. Despite this, if she is the one at the focus of the argument, she can often become unreasonable if she gets angry or frustrated - although rare, when her emotions take a negative turn, she tends to act before she thinks. She regrets it afterwards every single time.
She is loyal, and dedicated to those she loves and trusts, especially her best friend, Maze, and her dragon, Equinoth. She can take or leave romance, but friendship is extremely important to her. Protecting her friends is usually at the forefront of her mind, she often is unsure of what she's getting into, however, and doesn't care to find out as long as the people she cares about are safe! She has a strong moral compass, and does not stand for blatant injustice - these are the only problems she often notices. Everyone gets a fair chance, to her, and she will always stand up for the underdog. Her self-esteem is good, but, sometimes she can be full of herself, or egotistical; however, it is not born out of spite for others or believing herself to be better than them, she just loves herself and believes herself to be the protagonist of the theoretical story.

Cyr'a grew up on the weyr, and thus has been surrounded by dragons for her entire life, endlessly counting down the days until she could get one of her own! Her parents were both weyrfolk, and were very supportive of both of their daughters, and generally very kind, generous people, who taught their youngest that it was important to be positive, and be kind. As a child she got on well with her sister, five years her senior, but they grew apart as they got older due to their conflicting morals. At 15, she became a candidate, and met a friend for life in Maze. As a candidate, she often struggled with being taught how to read, due to her dyslexia, but she fought through it, and she was helped by her mentors and fellow candidates.
Unfortunately, many clutches went and gone - the only creature that acknowledged her thus far being a brown firelizard she impressed. These times got more stressful for her, when her sister's views got even worse, in her eyes; she was open and honest about her support for Golre of High Reaches Weyr. Her parents did not intervene, as they believed that she was an adult thus she could make her own mind up, but Cyr'a did not stand for it at all. From this point on, she no longer wanted to associate with her sister, who ended up transferring to High Reaches during Cyr'a's candidacy. She did not impress until she was 22 years old, in the same clutch as Maze, when a beautiful Green approached her and a second unbreakable bond was made. During weyrlinghood, she and Maze got even closer, and upon graduation, remained friends.
In 2770, when a clutch was stolen from Fort by High Reaches, and Ista was very open about their support for the perpetrator, Cyr'a was furious. She no longer wanted anything to do with Ista Weyr, and set sail for Fort instead, the victims of the crime. Her parents were supportive of her move, proud that their daughter was getting to travel and fulfil her own story. Maze, although less passionate about the political side of things, travelled with her, in support of her friend.
