FULL APPEARANCE:
You sure as hell can't knock F'ythe over with a pail of water! Tall and broad shouldered with muscles to boot, she's just about as strong as she looks. She cut her hair because it kept getting in her face, now its a little choppy, and the bangs aren't the cleanest, but it's good enough for her! She has brown monolidded eyes, a soft triangular jawline, and a pretty smile.
F'ythe never really wears dresses or anything like that. Shirts, pants, a jacket, and boots, and that's about it. Her walk is pretty distinct due to the way she constantly favors her right leg because she didn't let an ankle sprain heal correctly.
PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY:
F'ythe, for a lack of better words, isn't the sharpest pitchfork in the barn. Yes, she knows her way around a dragon and all that, but she isn't book smart in the slightest. Has never been. It's all been intuition, and if not, she remembers what she needs to know. If she doesn't need it? It's gone by the end of the day. Sometimes the common sense light bulb is in, sometimes it's been unscrewed. Depends on the day, depends on the situation.
Chatty to a fault, she loves to talk and make jokes, and has been that way since she was a weyrbrat. F'ythe is also very much a jock, and enjoys working out in whatever free time she can scrounge up. Running around the weyr, sit ups, pull ups using Padaranth's tail as a bar, whatever she can manage.
She has a tendancy to zone out when working and loses herself in it. She starts a task and then the next thing you know it's been however many hours because instead of doing one task and then stopping, she just did all of it because she got so into it that she couldn't stop. F'ythe isn't afraid of much, and what she is afraid of is more extistential than physical, like death, or if people like her enough, or if she's going to find someone who loves her and all that.
HISTORY
FAMILY: Journeyman Healer Frieda (mother), Chef Farsoythe (father), Froythe (younger brother), Sieda (younger sister), Edathe (younger sister), Farieda (younger sister)
SIGNIFICANT OTHER: N/A
BIRTHPLACE: Igen Weyr
HISTORY:
The first of 5 kids, Friesoythe was the daughter of a healer and a chef at Igen Weyr. She spent lots of time with her four little siblings growing up, typically talking to them more than any of the other children, but that didn't mean she didn't talk the ear off of anyone who was willing to listen.
Not much happened in her early childhood that was out of the ordinary, but she did pick up her penchant for athleticisim while only young. She liked running around, and roped her little brother, Froythe, into running around the weyr with her. It became somewhat of a morning ritual for the two, something that the two both continue (although seperated) to this day. One day, while running late in the evening, she tripped over an exposed tree root and sprained her ankle. While she did seek treatment (on her siblings' request, definitely not her own), she never really rested it or did anything to let it sit and heal, so she gained a bit of a limp.
Friesoythe found that she wouldn't be content with following after either of her parents footsteps, she didn't think that she was smart enough to be a healer, and she didn't have the will to cook day in day out, day in day out, or anything she thought was 'boring' like that. She figured that she would try her hand in candidacy, because there would be something to do, and a new friend to talk with, work out with, all that jazz. She went in at 16, passed through a couple Hatchings, nearly dropped out due to not getting an egg as quickly as she wanted, and then, she Impressed to Pandarath at age 20, eliding her name from Friesoythe to F'ythe.
She didn't know what to make of Dara at first, they didn't mesh too well, with Pandarath not really wanting to do much of anything else except getting work done, and Dara didn't really understand why F'ythe needed to run around every morning and wake her up. Eventually the two came to a mutual understanding that they just did whatever they needed to do to make themselves happy with their lives, and once that understanding was made, they got along much smoother than before.
Eventually, she got bored of the day in day out routine of Igen. Semaca had piqued her interest, it was a challenge, and F'ythe was always up for a challenge. She joined the Requiem Squad, since she thought that the squads were more her speed, and that she and Pandarath might be better suited for hunting and protecting against spotties rather than surveying or reconnaisance. When the floods came, she figured that there would be more work to do for Requiem. When the pirates came, the threat of them went right over her head. She'd much rather keep herself busy with her own work than the work of others, even if it has an impact on her day to day life.
