HAIR: She normally has curly hair, but it's pulled into a braid in her reference image! she has brown hair with lots of highlights! It reaches past her shoulder blades!
HEIGHT AND BUILD: Wie is 5'4 and has lots of hidden muscle!

FULL APPEARANCE: Wie is a short woman with lots of freckles! She always seems cold, so she commonly wears a jacket-type outerwear (shown next to her!) She wears a high necked thick fabric tank top and she wears soft grey pants (of which she commonly rolls up) She has a leather belt that has straps that connects to the belt on either side. On the straps are small bags (normally containing a small roll of bandages, some snacks, and generally some other stuff as well! She has some soft brown boots and some very soft leather gloves!
PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY: Wie is an ambitious and bubbly person. She has many opinions and is not afraid to hold them back. Wie is an incredibly outgoing person and seems very happy to talk to anyone around her! She tends to be blunt and loud and often is too much for some people.
Wie often rushes into things without thinking and it gets her into trouble more often than not. She does try and listen to the orders of her superiors to the best of her abilities, but when not following orders (and even when sometimes trying to) she often finds herself falling headfirst right into trouble. She seems to have issues with being easily distracted, even in serious situations. Due to this, she isn't always taken seriously which can be very frustrating for her.
Wie doesn't seem to have much of a temper and generally seems slow to anger. Her anger may be rare but it can be quite fierce.
Wie is a brash but well-meaning woman. She often will go out of her way to try and help even if she doesn't always succeed. She loves to explore even as an adult and often finds herself a little lost. Even though she loves to be around other people and be social, she loves to relax or be on her own for a bit at the end of the day.
HISTORY
FAMILY: Both her parents are alive (although currently unnamed NPCs-) And she has no siblings!

BIRTHPLACE: a minor hold!
HISTORY: Wie was born to a minor hold and grew up running around with other children. She seemed fairly uninterested in sticking only with her parents as they were always busy and rarely had time for her, and they often had differing opinions on what she should be doing. She at an early age learned to sneak past them and their authority. She and many other hold children got into lots of trouble and she was quickly labeled a troublemaker much to her parent's exasperation and anger. She was always far too adventurous and had gotten herself lost multiple times.
She often found company in those who cooked at the minor hold considering she generally spent dinners with others. She ended up adoring cooking and took that with her to the weyr. She is a relatively good cook and just likes to be around in the kitchen and help. When she was a bit older she found herself working within the kitchen so often it became something she wanted to do as an adult. This later fell by the wayside.
When a Searchrider came to the hold she had been incredibly hopeful that she might be picked. Lucky for her, she was. She was an eager candidate and was more than happy to go to High reaches to be one.
By the end of her time at the hold, she and her parent's relationship had deteriorated. She no longer speaks to them and had left as quickly as she could. It turned out well for her in the long run.
Once she got to the weyr she realized how much she enjoyed living there. She quickly fit in even with her slightly scatterbrained tendencies and when the hatching came along she impressed Zath. She very easily grew attached to the quiet dragon and has happily stuck by his side. She enjoys having someone to listen to her chatter. They seemed to get along well and have continued that- with Zath often trying to pull Wie away from a hare-brained plan and Wie trying to pull Zath into those plans.
Their training went as smoothly as it probably was ever going to go with how different the two are but they made a surprisingly good team. At the end of all their training days, they adorably seemed to love to curl up in a warm nook and relax (until poor Zath got too big for their relaxing spots of course.) For the most part, Wie managed to keep on the right track with Zath there. Unlike with her parents, she listened to Zath's advice and seemed much happier to do so considering every once and a while he listened to hers too.
The turmoil of Xanders elections overshadowed any worries Wie and Zath had about thread and the two were often preoccupied by the social and political climate around them.
Once they had completed training it seemed like they almost instantly jumped into fighting the thread, which threw them both off their stride. Even though they both came out with only minor injuries both were incredibly rattled by their first thread encounter and both seemed far tenser.
After a while, they seemed to relax and finally, when the time came to fight thread again they both did a bit better this time around.
The death of Zaths Dam had sent High Reaches into a spiral. Wie and Zath were rather unprepared for this and both were nervous for what was to come. Their nervousness unfortunately was proven to be well founded when heavy threadfall ripped through the wings of the weyr. Without a gold the numbers of dragons fell and Zath and Wie were prepared for things to get worse.
With Anaiya being elected things did indeed get worse. Wie was more than glad that she had impressed a blue rather than a gold or a bronze.
Both dragon and rider were horrified by the stolen eggs, but could see where the idea came from. They kept to themselves and tensions rose within High reaches and both of them were worried about the situation. They hoped the hatching of the donated eggs would ease things in the weyr.
When Toki of Gold Aldoeith decided to transfer to Benden both Wie and Zath were hopeful that the golds maiden clutch would have a gold. Aside from that they were nervous that once again High Reaches would need donated eggs, and would once again struggle with threadfall. Once Aldoeith's clutch was revealed to have a gold egg the pair relaxed.
Presently, Zath and Wie are just happy there is a gold in the weyr at all. They don't mind that a man impressed a gold and are simply hoping that this will turn High Reaches luck.
