FULL APPEARANCE:
Timon is a slender young man, with a height of a mere 5' 5", but he doesn't let his size stop him from following his dreams. His skin is very tan from his days spent romping in the sun, dotted with freckles all over his nose and parts of his cheeks. His eyes are a bright brown color, full of life and joy. His hair is a bold bright flaming orange, in a mess of wild curls, always falling in his eyes, with one sprig of hair refusing to lay flat.
Timon enjoys looking nice while still being able to frolic. Thus, he wears button-down shirts and slacks with fine suspenders, with standard shoes for running and climbing and whatever else he does. The problem is that he rarely can do his shirt buttons properly, giving him a lopsided and messy look. Regardless of his less-than-perfect appearance and general disarray, he usually greets people with a bright smile and a joyful greeting.

PERSONALITY:
Timon, at first glance, is an energetic young man. A wanderer and an explorer with a good heart, he loves experiencing new things. Oddly enough, Timon can be both a bold daredevil and extremely cowardly. Dare him to eat a weird bug? He'll eat three. Sudden loud noise that can't be explained? Good luck finding Timon. Loyal to the end, he is devoted to his family and his friends, and always willing to help out in anything. His boisterous and loud attitude can overwhelm some people, but with a few prods and a little explaining, Timon is capable of toning himself down to make others comfortable.
Timon is forgetful at times, as his daydreamy nature can take him far from Pern. Additionally, he can have difficulty identifying the emotional state of others, thus resulting in offering the wrong help, resulting in potential further problems. Unfortunately, Timon has a few flaws to note. Though it may take time for him to realize his mistakes and get over his selfish desire to keep denying his role in the problem in question, Timon will ultimately admit his guilt and apologize.
Timon holds a seed of selfishness in his heart, and absolutely hates it. Yet he can't help it! At times, bitterness and frustration plague him, and he feels he ought to have received the good things others have acquired. Timon hopes that, with time and effort and family, he can overcome this facet of himself, but it has lately proven unsuccessful. This self-centeredness can be seen in the physical world through Timon's words, as he can become sarcastic and sharp-tongued when experiencing these complex feelings inside.
It may not be obvious, but Timon is capable of being very brave. If he can overcome his fear of the threat at hand - which becomes very easy if his loved ones are in danger - he will face the hazard head-on...even at the risk of his own safety. This reckless tendency is likely to get him into trouble more often than not, but he can never stand idly by when people are in danger. It completely goes against his nature! Even as he struggles with his own problems, Timon will do his best to help others, though his current tactic of yelling loudly at the threat isn't very effective.

HISTORY:
Timon has always been an ordinary weyrbrat in Igen Weyr, born of a pair of dragonriders and raised mostly by the creche workers. He had regular contact with his parents, especially his father. While his mother was often "too busy" to visit her son, his father always made time to be with Timon. A sense of awe for dragonriders developed from time spent with R'mon and his enormous, warm, and friendly brown dragon, and an intense desire to become a Candidate, and later a dragonrider, bloomed in young Timon's heart.
Timon spent his childhood roaming the Igen sandplains, romping around and going on adventures, under the watchful eye of his foster mother. A generous and loving woman, hoping he'd like her gift, she presented Timon with a flit egg when he returned from playing one evening, and oh how delighted he was! Taking extra good care of the egg, it soon hatched, granting Timon with a large brown flit he dubbed Pumbaa. Now, Timon had an eternal companion at his side.
Timon had a near brush with danger on one of his romps outside of the Weyr, when he was about twelve Turns old. Exploring the sandy wastes in the shade of the Weyr, a sandsnake was disturbed from its rest by an oblivious Timon's walking. Loyal Pumbaa sensed the danger and didn't hesitate to charge the snake as it lashed out. Timon bolted away unscathed, but tremendously surprised, while Pumbaa fled the scene before the snake recovered and decided to counterattack. After that, Timon stuck a little closer to the Weyr, and his love for his Pumbaa increased by nearly tenfold.
When Timon was fourteen Turns old, he came to learn that he had siblings! Half-siblings, but still more family! He had two older half-brothers - one traveling with a caravan somewhere and the other an Igen bluerider - and the other - a big sister! - was a recently Impressed whiterider. Yet uncertainty held him back a brief time, until he found the courage to approach his elder brother. Time spent with A'den was like finding a paradise! But by the time Timon turned to truly greet his sister, Rhaenys had transferred to Fort. Sad, Timon returned to daily life, determined to write letters to her.
Timon entered Candidacy the day he turned fifteen, eager to become a rider like his family. Perhaps a brown would like him, or a blue, or a white! Standing for several clutches with great excitement. No dice. Oh well. He still had many Turns left to try! Then news came to him that his half-brother A'den was transferring to Fort. Wait - Rhaenys was there! If he moved to Fort too, he'd be with his siblings! Requesting transfer as well and saying goodbye to his father, Timon hitched a ride with his bluerider brother to Fort.

- Early Spring 2773: Timon Stands for Serapheth's Kingdom's Edge clutch and is left Standing. But hey, he got to see his roommate Megumi Impress to blue Zoth! That, and had an interesting encounter with green Clohoth, as the dragonet shoved past him to get to her T'rix - "haha, BONK"
