FULL APPEARANCE:
Mayoi is a man of average height, but he is quite thin to the point he is underweight. Along with this, he is quite pale and tends to be very quiet. He wears more neutral colored clothes, but he is admittedly fond of purples. He has a mole under his lip. His hair is black, very long and is usually tied up in a braid. He also has blue eyes.

PERSONALITY:
Mayoi tends to stick to the shadows and, thus, is all too happy to be a wherhandler. He doesn't do well in crowds as well and tends to keep himself very distant from other wherhandlers due to his anxiety. Despite this, he feels incredibly insecure about his skills as a wherhandler, as he received his wher after his father's death. He doesn't think he'll be as good as the other wherhandlers in the weyr. He struggles a lot with intrusive, downgrading thoughts towards himself.

However, this isn't to say that he's resourceful. He tends to find little shortcuts in order to get to places quicker on the weyr. He also tends to be a very maternal friend. He's observant and diligent in his work, even though his mind tells him that he isn't as good as the other wherhandlers. If he notices someone is in need, despite his fears and hesitations, he will go out of his way to help. He is incredibly loyal to his weyr and had always dreamed of going there to become a candidate, though he never did.

He's also bluntly honest to those he speaks to. As a result, he can come off as harsh and rude to others.

FULL APPEARANCE:
A short and scrappy blue, Mask has a lithe body. Most of his body is a bright cyan color that goes darker around the neck and tail. On his neck and head, the dark blue markings resemble a jester's cowl, indicating to an almost playful nature. However, his tail's markings seem to indicate the opposite, with a sharp arrow pointing upwards. He has a number of scars from his years of living.

PERSONALITY:
Mask, despite appearances, is a very serious wher. He does not tend to care about anyone's shards except his own and tends to keep to himself. As a result, he comes off as aloof and quiet. He generally only cares about his responsibilities- as long as he is doing work, he's a happy wher.

When it comes to Mayoi, Mask tends to act like a stern, emotionally unavailable father. He is secretly proud of Mayoi and the process he's made since he was blooded, but he does feel like Mayoi is hampering his own success as well. He thinks that Mayoi is a good wherhandler and a good person, regardless of what negative thoughts may pop up in Mayoi's head.
