We are a DRoP Role playing site! Our RP takes place in an Alternate Universe. Raumo was settled by the Riders and Holders who escaped the dying North. The quests to find a cure for the illness killing the dragons and flitts failed. The dragons were dying quicker with the illness and thread fall claiming lives faster than their numbers could be replaced...
Ja'kul of the old bronze Raumoth took a handfull of riders who were unaffected. They staked out a cove in Southern hoping for the best... After two months and their dragons never became ill, they stayed and didn't even announce themselves to the rest of the world. Instead what they formed was a home inside of a large cavern. A new Weyr, Raumo after his Bronze who found the cove. Inside the cave was a large freshwater spring despite the ocean outside.
Escaping the North a ship found it's way along the Coast. They stopped in many areas until they happened to find a dragon in the sky... they followed it and now, the first Holders arrived. Raumo turned into a Weyr Hold and word was only sent to families of those who found their way. A long kept secret.... Until a Queen arrived.
Upon the heated sands laid a clutch of eggs with a wild wher. Before she could be identified... the queen was gone... All her eggs on the sands and now under the guard of a Wild Queen Wher. This was Pern's future... And there was no gold egg in sight... When the hatching came, Pern was blessed with two gold whers... and a hidden gem, a Gold dragon. She impressed the dragonless Hold's Heir.
Now, to try and bring the Dragons population to a rise, Greens are being allowed to clutch. As four greens rose, there are nine eggs on the sands... but what gems do these eggs hold?
