- Up in the Air is a post-aivas, alternate reality, non-canon Pern rpg. Set just 2 turns away from the 12th Pass, UitA focuses on Telgar and Western Weyr with plans to open 2 other locations as the plot moves forward. Thread has mutated and decimated Pern when it has appeared; with the looming threat of another Pass, Pern's last concern would be the Weyrs engaged in a full-on war against one another...will the world go down this path? Or will Telgar manage to keep the world together as the Red Star grows nearer.
