While I know Serapheth doesn't like blues in her flights, was there really no better way to handle things? Maybe blue and greenriders should band together and make it clear she can't just keep treating us like this!

Simply because of one bad apple, the whole bunch doesn't spoil with them! Amishuth blurted as he sunned on the rocks. His head rolled lazily from one side to the other, barely opening his outer lids. He purred contently as A'ksei applied numbweed salve to his scored shoulder - one of the last Falls of the turn grazed him just slightly. A blue in the air is fast. Faster than a bronze. I bet one of us could catch her - Vaugnairth did once.

A'ksei made a noise, pausing in his ministrations to give the blue a hard look. "That lout also cracked the queen egg, if you recall."

That lout was but one of the many that live here. A gentleman like myself would never bring harm to her or her's, he crooned.

"Serapheth, however, does deserve her own rights in the sky. She was violent, yes, but she made it clear she did not want a blue chasing her." Aoi looked at A'ksei and his dragon. Kurabeth was also sunning on the rocks, his wings outstretched and the dragon resting contently. However, he soon flipped over onto his back, laying upside down as he looked at the dragonriders and his fellow blue.

"Imagine the harper tale of a blue catching Serapheth. That would be legendary. Wait-!" Kurabeth quickly sat up, his wings outstretched as he looked at Aoi, "Maybe I could be that blue, Aoi! I would love to be in a harper's tale and you could write and perform it!" Aoi just blinked a bit before sighing, pinching the bridge of his nose.

"Trust me, I don't think that's a good idea, Kurabeth. Trust me on that." After all, one of his earliest memories was watching Serapheth hatching on the sands. He did not want the same fate as that candidate to befall his own dragon.

If any blues caught our fair golden queen, it would be me. Bhravasaruth boasted. He had wanted to chase, but his rider had intentionally taken him elsewhere when she rose. I could do it. What gold could resist such a handsome dragon as myself.

Zirkander sighed deeply, well used to his dragon. "Yeah, I heard about how she treats blues who chase her. I'd rather not be dragonless in my prime, thanks." he said, sarcasm and teasing softening his words.

You would make an excellent Weyrleader. As would I he said, ignoring his riders meaning.

Zirkander barked a laugh. "I absolutely would hate the job." he replied, shivering in mock horror.
