[Arc] Bad Ideas Abound

K'et didn't walk. It may not have been ladylike, it may have alarmed some people she passed, but she didn't care. She ran to P'pin's door and started knocking, just hoping against hope that the other woman wasn't away eating dinner.

"P'pin? Are you in? It's me. There's an uh... a maybe emergency. Haenath is doing something really bad and he won't listen to me."

"What did he do and how can I help?" P'pin said, flinging the door open, even though she stood in only her breeches and breastband (having been in the middle of changing for dinner). Nothing was more important than her friends, and she had no better friend than K'et.

Palath was sunning on the fireheights, but P'pin reached for their bond, ready to pull him back. He'd understand. Haenath was his classmate and his brother.

Classmates stuck together.

"He... Serapheth," K'et said, knowing of no other words beyond that which would convey the gravity of the situation. Serapheth was known to be rather... well, extremely prejudiced. Basically as bad as Golre and her dragon, only Tuckal was better at pretending that she wasn't a monster even when she was. "She's rising."

She didn't even notice her friend's state of undress. She had too much else to worry about just then. Everything was terrible, and she wasn't sure whether she was more angry at Haenath for refusing to listen to reason or the Weyrwoman for having such a truly terrible dragon and not going away to some far-off place to be away from all other sentient beings. Or having the decency to die in Threadfall or something, that would work too.
