Tess sighed as she redressed after her bath, running her fingers through her still wet hair. Between drills and running patrols, she was exhausted. It was late, which meant all she wanted to do was go to her weyr and turn in alongside her weyrmate. Which meant she didn't want to see a single face other than his from now until tomorrow morning. But she wasn't so fortunate, as Kazeroth rumbled from where she waited outside. Groaning, she let her hands drag down her face, telling herself that all she had to do was acknowledge them nicely and go on her way, nice and easy.

Nothing was ever so simple, it seemed. A hint of a gleaming white wing caught her eye, easy for her to recognize herself before Kazeroth announced them. Seto and Bruueyeth, she huffed, not deigning to lift her head from her paws to greet them herself, though her tail twitched in annoyance. Tess had to admit there were worse folk she could bump into by chance than an old wingmate, though she didn't recall engaging him much beyond wing business. Seeing Seto himself as she made to exit, she paused to regard him, though she frowned at being reminded how tall he was, as she had to look up by a fair margin to make eye contact.

"Seto," Tess said by way of greeting, though her voice was low, not sure how to face him after her recent transfer to Equinox. "Glad to see Thread hasn't eaten you."
