PLAY-BY: ArtbreederFULL APPEARANCE:PERSONALITYPERSONALITY: Danyoril is... unreliable. He's not lazy, exactly, because he doesn't shy away from working and getting things done. But he's easily distracted and rather flighty by nature, prone to making promises that he doesn't keep or saying he'll do something and then not actually doing it. He's always at least a few minutes late to every meeting, appointment, and date, because he leaves preparations to the very last moment and then has to rush. Danyo is probably incapable of ever being on time to anything, and the chances that he's left something behind are also high. He would forget his own head if it wasn't attached to him! Do not trust him with something vital, because he will almost certainly let you down.
The one thing in life he does take seriously - mostly - is looking after those he cares about. Oh, he's not particularly attentive, but he feels a drive to
be there for his friends and family, particularly his younger sister Daenyaella, who he is remarkably protective of. Of course, he's somewhat oblivious to the fact that she can take care of herself - as, indeed, most of his loved ones are, because they all tend to be more reliable and competent than Danyoril is. But still, he tries. His presence in High Reaches Weyr to be with his sister is an expression of this, because he wants to look out for her, even though life in a Weyr is substantially harder work than the family's Hold.
Something of a free spirit, Danyoril doesn't actually like staying in one place very long. He craves freedom and adventure - not the dangerous, risking his life kind of adventure, but travelling around, just seeing the world and experiencing everything it has to offer, that's what he really wants. Danyo is fun-loving, carefree, and absolutely revels in new experiences. Anything that's fresh and new, Danyo enjoys, and he engages with changing circumstances with an openness that many struggle with. He's also open-minded and accepting of other people, tolerating pretty much everyone regardless of their rank, gender, or anything else. Except those who constantly hassle him about his rather fickle nature, that is. Those people should just go away. Danyo does not need to be 'more responsible'.
Danyo's relationship with Danyosk is rather complicated. For the most part, they get along well, because neither one really pushes the other into doing something they don't want to do. This does mean that they don't challenge each other either, however, so they feed into each other's worse impulses. The main point of contention between them is that Danyo actually wants to do things, while Danyosk really would rather not. Undoubtedly this contributes to Danyo's tendency to be late all the time.

HEX CODE:FULL APPEARANCE: Danyosk is a lanky, leggy kind of wher, and between his wrinkled hide and the lack of muscle underneath, he looks like he has far more skin than he could possibly need. His wings are a little longer than normal for a wher, but narrower too - and still every bit as useless when it comes to flight. It just adds to his somewhat gangly build. Danyosk's hide is a mixture of white and black stripes, and it's very hard to tell whether he's white with black stripes or black with white stripes.
PERSONALITYPERSONALITY: There's no getting around it: Danyosk is lazy. Work is for other whers - and humans and dragons and literally everyone that's not him. There are those who actually like working, and Danyosk is very much of the opinion that work should be left to those who enjoy it. He doesn't enjoy it, so he doesn't want to do it. If he's made to actually do something, he'll complain bitterly the whole time and make snarky comments about how pointless it all is. While he's a wickedly smart wher in many ways, he's very, very good at feigning incompetence the moment he's tasked with something he doesn't fancy doing. The only thing he'll put any real effort into is arguing with those he disagrees with - such as a certain bronze dragon (Allulth), who Danyosk absolutely loathes.
