Hector's eyes are a deep, dark blue. His hair is black, kept short and just barely long enough to hang in his eyes when messy. He has a strong jaw with the tiniest bit of stubble, though usually he'll try to keep as clean shaven as possible.
PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY:
Despite his size, Hector is fairly amiable. He can come off as intimidating, but just below the exterior he is more of a parental or big brother figure to many. While he enjoys a good spar (and doesn't necessarily know when one isn't appropriate), he also enjoys being a shoulder to lean on. His advice may not be the best, but he's good at cheering people up.
He is bold and straightforward, leading him to be a bit blunt and even a bit reckless at times. Still, he cares deeply for those close to him, and tries to put it into words when he can.
HISTORY

Uther (brother, deceased)
Orun (half-brother)
SIGNIFICANT OTHER: N/A
BIRTHPLACE: Igen Weyr
HISTORY: TW: Death
As a child, Hector always showed an interest in being a fighter. He was strong, stubborn, and a bit rash. It got him injured more often than not, but those minor injuries only fueled his desire to spar. His brother was usually the one who took him up on his offers, and encouraged him to grow stronger.
Hector was still young when his parents died. In the wake of their deaths, he grew much closer to his brother. They helped each other cope with the loss and move on from it. The real struggle came when his brother died. Suddenly Igen Weyr didn't seem like home anymore. He grieved for a period of time, before deciding that he needed to go elsewhere, away from the lingering pain of losing his family.
Hearing of the misfortunes that had befallen Fort Weyr over the years in passing, he quickly made up his mind. There was suddenly somewhere he could go to get away from Igen, and somewhere his skills would be useful. He requested a transfer to Fort Weyr at 23. He wasn't getting anywhere with his candidacy at Igen, maybe Fort would be his next best option at impressing a dragon. He was jovial and outgoing, if not a bit intense, but people seemed to enjoy his company. He longed for the day he would impress, as that was his ticket to a fighting wing, as well as a companion that would always be by his side.
His stay there didn't start off so well. While he didn't attend the hatching of Serapheth's clutch his first turn there, he was startled to hear of the tragic events that took place during it. The ensuing chaos made him wonder if it had been a mistake to come there. But the appearance of his former Weyr convinced him that, had he not come there sooner, he probably would have when Igen chose to intervene.
By 24 Hector still hadn't impressed. He was worried. Would he age out of Fort and have to transfer again to realize his goal? But luckily, just before his 25th birthday, luck appeared to be on his side. A precious little green, Nanakoth, chose him as her rider. She brought back the light he had lost in the years waiting to impress. He couldn't have been happier with the dragon he received.
