Inetan
"Find what is the truth, life just seems so cruel
Winner, loser never know who'll finally be the fool
Just release your heart
Light it on, Alert
The one and only matter that's the story and the start"

FULL APPEARANCE:
Inetan is tall and lean, with tanned skin and dark hair. His eyes are striking blue, and a feature he is rather proud of... or, was rather proud of. A patch covers his right eye at all times, hiding a milky white iris. He is not completely blind, but the vision is severely damaged and he sees only shadows or vague, murky shapes. He tends to keep the long hair of his fringe covering that side of his face--after all, he doesn't need that side to see from.
His long, layered black hair is kept tied back in a low tail, loose and flowing, with a slight curl to the ends. It curls more when short, and he keeps it longer as a result, though the curl is easily noticed at the shorter layers. He has a particular fondness for the colour blue, and likes to wear colours in various shades. He's quite fashionable and tends to splurge his marks on the latest tailor-made clothing whenever possible.
PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY:
A confident and charming person, he is known for having a flair for the dramatic bordering on pretentious. He gets enjoyment out of telling bald-faced lies to those around him, especially the gullible--it's intended in good fun, but as a result he can be difficult to trust. His confidence also easily transitions to arrogance; while he may not outright state that he believes himself to be smarter or better than someone else, it'll be obvious. Witty and curious, he likes to put his mind to work and tries to think outside the box.
If one gets past his farces they may find him enjoyable to be around, thanks to a relaxed and even playful demeanor. This makes him generally easy to approach, but does come off as being too laid-back and even lazy until proven otherwise. He is slow to react to situations, especially serious ones, preferring to gather and process information rather than jump to conclusions. He holds grudges and while not vindictive, will treat those who have wronged him like they are lesser or less intelligent until they have gotten back into his good graces. This is when his oft-hidden sarcastic side comes out in full.
While not cruel, he can be callous toward those who do not share similar "open-minded" beliefs to his own, and he would not be above leaving someone to their fate should he be put in such a situation.
He's rather vain, taking a high stock in his appearance. His outift is, as often as possible, immaculate and he can react rather dramatically to wardrobe inconveniences, such as unexpected stains or tears. He works hard, but only when he wants to.
HISTORY
FAMILY: Mother, Father - Alive
Aunt, Uncle, Cousins - Alive
SIGNIFICANT OTHER: N/A
BIRTHPLACE: Benden Hold (Born), Minor Igen Cothold (Raised)
HISTORY:
Born in the spring to a pair of Benden Hold vintners, for his safety Inetan was eventually handed off to be raised by an aunt and uncle in far cothold. With young children of their own and wanting nothing to do with the war, the small family was located on one of the far territories less inclined for news and subsequent... chaos. Inetan was educated by his family in writing and reading when he displayed an interest at a young age, and a local Harper would educate him once he had grown past the basics they could provide.
As a child, he was badly injured during a play-fight with his cousins, ending in Inetan being permanently blinded in his right eye.
Luckily for him, he grew up well-adjusted, communicating with his parents through firelizard and letters. Further, he displayed a bit of an odd interest in clothing--a skill he expressed repeated interest in honing. As soon as he was of age, his aunt and uncle spent the marks they had been ferreting away, largely sent from his parents for the exact occasion, to send him the long way to Southern Boll, where he would learn at the Weavercraft Hall proper. As a parting gift to him, they bestowed upon him a firelizard egg purchased from a trader, which hatched into a bronze he named Kaeya.
Inetan would spend many long Turns at the Hall, learning of different fibers and fabrics, learning and making fashions. He did not graduate until late into his twentieth Turn.
Inetan was Searched not long after graduating, bringing him to Fort. While he had put many Turns of education into his craft, potentially becoming a Dragonrider was viewed by him, having been raised in a Hold, as the greatest honour one could be given. Plus, if he didn't Impress, it wasn't as if he wouldn't be needed around the Weyr--or just about anywhere else on Pern.
