Sak'rou is a man of average height. He has medium length red hair that matches color with his beard. He tends to wear darker colors, such as dark greens and dark blues, when it comes to his clothing. His green eyes often have a warm, friendly look in them. He has a slightly muscular build. He has a large scar across one of his hands, an injury from his youth.

Sak'rou is a man who adores one thing above all else: his family. However, due to this, he tends to only talk about his family when he isn't joking around or focused on something. He comes across as rude at times if someone is talking to him. This is because he will tend to stir the conversation back towards his family and talk about everything amazing his weyrmate has done so far and about his accomplishments. In all honesty, he constantly praises Ki'lo. He admittedly is a bit sad that their family is only the two of them and their dragons. He always dreamed of raising a child. However, due to both him and his partner being dragonriders, he is unable to do so. However, because of this, he will go out of his way to ensure a child is happy.
He tends to be a generally friendly person to those around him. He likes to feel included and works hard to make others feel happy that day. He tends to be a bit clumsy, often tripping over when he gets off of his dragon. However, he usually laughs this off, making jokes like 'Aw, looks like my gear wants me to stay on for a bit longer'. He likes to laugh and have fun, often telling jokes to others. He has a strong desire to make sure justice happens as well. Because of this, he found it hard when people left High Reaches to return or move to Fort after the eggs disappeared. He views them as untrustworthy and constantly wonders if they were responsible for the stolen eggs.

Sakirou lived his entire life in Telgar Weyr, being born in the Interval War. His parents had both been dragonriders, thus, he was raised in the creche. He didn't really mind that, in all honesty. He knew his parents had a lot of work to do, especially due to the war that was currently going on between the weyrs. When he spent time with them, he was happy to listen to their stories. He praised them often, a wide smile on his face as he complimented them to other people. To him, nothing made him happier than knowing his parents worked hard to protect the weyr.
However, his constant praises towards his parents were somewhat annoying to the other children. Even with how friendly he was, there was still so much people could take listening to the same stories again and again from him. In fact, some of the children even thought he was rude. He never asked much about them and how their days were. Thus, he did not make as many friends as he would have liked. However, that didn't bother him! He had decided his path in life and it would be to become a dragonrider like his parents!
That was exactly what he did when he turned fifteen, the same year the war ended due to Thread returning. He was happy to become a candidate, but soon noticed someone.. special in his class. His name was Kiralo and he had been searched in from a hold. Honestly, the second Sakirou saw him, it was love at first sight. He wanted to do anything to get closer to the other, just to befriend him. After all, Kiralo looked like a really fun guy to be around. Kiralo seemed to like that Sakirou wanted to befriend him, being a year younger. The two became fast friends, with Sakirou keeping his crush a secret.
They were classmates for two years before Sakirou impressed in 2757. He was surprised when the blue dragon approached him, but he was happy that he impressed, shortening to name to Sak'rou. After graduating, he just had to wait three years for Kiralo to impress to a stunning blue as well. He decided, then, to admit his feelings to Ki'lo at the feast. He was beyond excited when Ki'lo admitted he felt the same. From that day on, he and Ki'lo were partners, something that brought joy to Sak'rou.
The two lived a peaceful.. well.. as peaceful as a life fighting thread could be.. life together, with Sak'rou constantly praising the other and Ki'lo greatly enjoying the compliments from his partner. However, they felt.. a bit bored living in Telgar Weyr for so many years. They decided in 2769 to transfer to Fort Weyr. They were quick to join their new squads and thought that Fort was a nice change of pace.
However, nothing peaceful lasts for long.
In Spring of 2770, two eggs laid by a garnet dragon disappeared and, rather quickly, news spread that High Reaches had gotten those two eggs. Sak'rou had no doubts that High Reaches had stolen the eggs. He wasn't fond of the people transferring back to the weyr, quietly judging them and wondering if they had been responsible for the stolen eggs.
When Z'osh took over the weyr some time afterwards, he did not oppose the other, but he did not support him either. Z'osh was a strict traditionalist and Sak'rou didn't really support what he did to ensure he got power. However, when Z'osh was removed from power and exiled, he felt a bit of relief.
Sure, Tuckal and her dragon may not have been the best leadership Fort could have, but he personally thought she was better than Z'osh.
