FULL APPEARANCE: Yermie is a little on the short side but pretty broad for that, especially in the shoulders. They wear their hair short and don't often cut it with a style in mind, they just don't like when it starts tickling their ears. Their clothes are all hand-me-downs, usually old patched things or work clothes that Yermie doesn't have to worry about messing up. Their skin is always tanned and they are covered in freckles.

PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY: Yermie is an energetic youth, who likes hanging out with friends. They are a kind person who likes helping others, and tries to be respectful to authority figures and polite when it's expected, but doesn't really have a refined bone in their body so sometimes falls short.

Unfortunately, Yermie can be very distractible, and often leaves tasks unfinished. When someone points that out to them, they're quick to get back on task...until the next distraction, of course. They also have a bad habit of picking things up. It's not stealing, or at least not intentionally, because they'll immediately apologize and return whatever it is if someone calls them out, but if something small and interesting is left unattended, they will get distracted by it, and then absent-mindedly put it into their pocket for later once they realize they have something else to do. They have a small hoard of treasures in their room that they periodically have to sheepishly put into the lost and found.

Their greatest love, of all time, the one thing that will make them lose reason is going for a run. The fastest way to Yermie's heart is to go on a run with them. They don't particularly care about going fast, they just want to be moving all the time.

HISTORY: Yermie was born in Fort Weyr. They never knew their parents, but never felt the lack. It felt like the whole Weyr was their family, with all of the advantages and drawbacks that come from having large families. Their life was largely average for a Weyrbrat, except for a brief period where some of the adults around him thought maybe they would be suited for a profession that would take them out of the Weyr. From a very young age, Yermie was always trying to run around, and for a time it seemed like they might make for a good runner. But it quickly became apparent that being a runner wasn't for them - they routinely picked longer routes just to drag out the run, misplaced written messages and forgot large portions of oral ones. They just really loved the running part and nothing else.

With all that confusion about whether they should be a runner or not cleared up, Yermie signed up to be a candidate as soon as they were eligible, more because that's what all their friends were doing than because they had aspirations to be a rider. Not that a dragon wouldn't be amazing, it was just that they had plenty of time to worry about that. And now they're old enough to stand to maybe get a wher too, so that's double the possible amazing! Even when they didn't Impress, it was always so much fun to be right there on the sands when the babies were hatching, to get to see them up close.

I see Hijith made a mess of things. Predictable. I suppose it always had to be you. I wonder why. What compels me to choose anyone at all instead of leaving here alone, as a firelizard or a wher might? I obviously need to be fed and protected in my current state, but you don’t look like much of a hunter. A matter for future investigation, I suppose. You may call me Tsukasath.

FULL APPEARANCE: Tsukasath is a small, slender white, with a delicate build. His features are refined and really quite lovely. He moves with a contained sort of grace and his expression often looks vaguely smug. His flying is beautiful and eye-catching, without being too flashy. He's pretty aware of how he's presenting himself and will adjust his bearing to try and match whatever he is trying to convey. His tail is black and his head is white, the colors fading neatly from one to the other, encompassing countless shades of grey between.

PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY: Tsukasath is a deeply intelligent, strategic dragon, quite possibly the smartest in his clutch. He knows perfectly well how brilliant he is and can be a bit smug about it. Tsukasath is a dragon who always has his eyes on the bigger picture. He may not always understand everything perfectly, and can make mistakes or misunderstand, but he tries to keep the long game in mind. Tsukasath wants to know the why's of everything, because information is power. He prefers to investigate himself over asking directly, thinking if he doesn't know, nobody else probably does either. He wants to know where thread comes from and better understand it, so they can know if there's any better way to stop it than one fall at a time and, even if there's not, come up with better ways of fighting it. Tsukasath is willing to put humans or other dragons through some degree of risk and discomfort when he thinks he has a good idea. He doesn't concern himself overly much with anyone who is accidentally hurt by one of schemes. Tsukasath can be quite manipulative in pursuit of his goals and is willing to commit to and maintain long and elaborate lies to try and maneuver the pieces into place. That said, he does have a well-hidden soft side and he does ultimately mean well, even if his methods can be a bit callous.

Tsukasath is interested in better understanding his own mind and those of other dragons and their memories and how they change over time. He thinks that since his memory is only three days long, he has no way of every truly knowing if he is the same dragon he was before. It also doesn’t really matter except as an intellectual exercise. Everyone changes over time and he doesn't see what difference it would make in his life either way. Tsukasath's sense of his own gender is fluid. Sometimes he feels more masculine and prefers male pronouns, other days he feels feminine and female pronouns would be best. He's entirely comfortable with this- it is simply the way he is and always has been. Tsukasath is a big flirt, even though like most whites he does not rise or chase. He usually flirts to distract or manipulate, but occasionally means it, especially with Hijiith, whom he enjoys making flustered. Tsukasath sees his rider as a partner in his endeavors. He cares about them, even if he sometimes uses them for his own purposes or leaves them out of things he thinks are too dangerous. He loves them in a quiet, non-demonstrative way they may take time to recognize. He sometimes expresses his affection by gently teasing them. Although he won't make a show of it, he'll do his best to look after them and make sure they never go hungry and always have a safe place to come back to.

Voice: Tsukasath's voice isn't clearly masculine or feminine. He sounds smug and above-it-all. He can change his tone, however, when he wants to and is a surprisingly good actor for a dragon.


Why Me?: Tsukasath sees advantages to having a minion rider with energy to spare and an abiding sense of curiosity. In exchange, he can help Yermie out of some of the problems they regularly find themselves in. Although he won't admit it, he also just kind of likes them.
