FULL APPEARANCE: E'lis is scrawny at first glance. You wouldn't see the pecs until the shirt is off, but his sizeable biceps are a good hint that he's packing underneath his loose clothes. His exposed flesh is sun-kissed where the attire doesn't touch. Ripples of scars from a lifetime of shenanigans paint him like a canvas of a million stories. Though E'lis prefers to go shirtless any day, he sticks to just-loose-enough tunics and thicker pants to protect his knees. Callouses run thick on his large hands. It'll be a rare day to see him not smudged with soot.
PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY: E'lis is like a 5-turn-old with a giant lizard flamethrower and en extensive knowledge of Pernese curses and how to use them. He is overly excited and enthusiastic. He's a young lad with a sense of invincibility - basically inviting trouble in every sense of the word, or diving into it even if the door is closed. E'lis finds glee in things others would blanch at. He will hoot and holler fighting Threadfall (while playing a banjo if he was physically able).
E'lis is easily distracted, often regaling tales of his youth about some of his best friends and the crazy things they've done over the Turns.
Because of his history as a farmhand, E'lis knows his way around a flamethrower and will spend his free time with the smithers repairing and maintaining them in the Weyr's downtime.
When it comes to Plemeth, E'lis is a storyteller who can keep his green in awe for hours on end. He adores showing her every little thing he can and entertains her curiosity by explaining in detail the inner-workings of whatever she is entranced by. Whenever the green is down, E'lis is quick to build her back up. Plemeth may see him as a big brother, and to E'lis she is a little sibling who needs to be protected - emotionally and physically.

HISTORY: Ellis' roots are buried deep in the devotion to his family and hard work. He was raised to respect his parents and never dared to talk back to them, lest he receive a flogging. If you ever asked him about the various times he was disciplined for doing something stupid, Ellis would laugh about how "yeah I deserved that". He definitely gained his daredevil attributes from his father: tipping herdbeasts, being rolled downhill in barrels ... Yeah. Poor Freeda, there was no telling how many miniature strokes that woman endured every day when dealing with them.
When night fell or the seasons didn't permit growth, Ellis would saunter off with his cothold buddies to get into trouble in the surrounding wilderness. There is seriously no shortage of seeming-tall-tales (but they're true!) that he could look back on with a grin.
At 16, Ellis was Searched by a Fort Weyr dragon. Shortly thereafter, he became E'lis of Green Plemeth and has been living in the Weyr ever since. The infirmary knows him well. They keep a stockpile of numbweed set aside just for him.
For a country boy from a traditionalist family, he is surprisingly progressive in his views and welcomes whatever oddity comes their way. It's rumored he chose to be part of the Aurora Wing because it's led by a white dragon and, "They just look cool okay."
