FULL APPEARANCE:
Cecelia keeps her hair as short as possible so it doesn’t get in her way while she’s flying or writing. However, that’s the extent she really works on her hair. She often has bedhead, and she doesn’t put too much care into her appearance, so long as her clothing and equipment isn’t filthy. She often goes for looser, baggier clothing when she’s not attending to her duties, and can often be found resting in alcoves or against her dragon during quieter moments.
Her posture isn’t the most amazing, as she’s often slouching forward or leaning back in her chairs when she’s relaxing. But she keeps herself in shape, often doing stretches when she's’ not actively working out with her dragon. Cecelia often looks or is half asleep, and you would be forgiven for thinking she actually IS asleep most of the time.
PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY:
Cecelia works very hard, when she can, and always manages to get her work done in a timely manner. Mostly because she prefers to have moments of downtime where she and her dragon can space out. They resonate well enough that they don’t even need to talk most of the time. She’s surprisingly good at keeping track of her work as well as the tasks assigned to others, since she does sometimes space out and has to compensate by being more organized and mindful of her surroundings.
While she doesn’t have many ‘friends’, she does find herself being very receptive to the feelings of others, and can offer profound advice if given time. However, with all the time she spends thinking, she can overthink and blow up the most minor slights. This just ends up making her even more distant until her dragon can nudge her into confronting the problem. Most of the time she will find it was just a misunderstanding and move from there.
She’s a creature of habit and loves soft things. She often has a couple extra pillows she buys from traders on her bed, and has to have her dragon wake her when she sleeps a little too deeply. In addition, Cecelia really does prefer that things remain the way they are, and has a bit of difficulty adjusting to major changes. But thankfully, she at least can rely on her fellow riders as well as to help her make the change without difficulty. She just worries that even with all this peace, a day will come that she will be caught under tyranny again…
She avoids Intra-weyr politics like the plague. She’s frankly sick of the idea of leaders squabbling and trying to assert their power, and all she wants is to live in peace.

HISTORY:
Cecelia is the second oldest girl in her small family
Her life was simple, despite its flaws and issues. Her father and mother were both very proud dragon riders, riding a Green and a Blue respectively. They both never got very high in the pecking order and wanted their children to do better. So they both gladly helped their children prepare for the upcoming Candidacy, even when they were very young. All of them were very receptive to their parents and their enthusiasm, so even the laid back Cecelia was excited to turn 15.
Cecelia’s stint into Candidacy was uneventful, and she quietly grew as she was passed over by scores of dragonets. However, her brother had impressed a sizable bronze, and decided that he should move to High Reaches. He'd been talking about going and ‘expanding their horizons’, worrying his parents and siblings alike.. Cecelia, despite the danger, still decided to go with Justav, to make sure he ended up being safe. She had to sneak away into the night with him, as her parents had told her that it was far too dangerous for her to go. And while she knew the danger, her brother had convinced her that she'd be safe over there. He was a bronzerider, things would be fine.
It was a huge mistake.
The place was… well, it was nothing like home. Everyone was so obsessed with dragons and the hierarchy… Justav went and left her on her own, eager to bask in the privileges that Impressing to a bronze brought. She couldn’t even write to her parents without the risk of them making a fuss and putting themselves in danger. Of course, there would be little they could do to help, but her parents were hard headed and might try and bring her home. So she kept her correspondence with them as light as possible. Cecelia only really managed to survive by keeping her head down and not making waves.
When she finally Impressed during what was an absurdly large clutch to her, she Impressed to an enormous, but gentlehearted brown. Cecelia had never felt such a profound bond with anyone, and she actually wept when they were connected. They rarely had time to just sit and think, and just enjoy each other’s company, but when they could, they cherished the moments together.
It was during one of these thought sessions that the idea of moving away came up.
The first chance that Cecelia got, she flew away with Uriangth, and never looked back.
Both found Fort so much more relaxing and more suited to their personalities. Fort wasn’t perfect, but they weren’t judging Cecelia for her quiet, sleepy personality and her equally passive Brown. Uriangth and her settled in as best as they could, still wondering what happened to her brother and if they’d ever have to fight one day... While they didn’t mind fighting Thread, they both were just not the type to antagonize anyone. They just wanted to work and keep the weyr running as smoothly as possible while forgetting their weyrlinghood.
The day that Golre fell was the day that she figured her brother was gone. He’d been a savage pro-ponnant of Golre, so if he hadn’t been in the final fight, there was just no way he’d still be at High Reaches. Maybe he’d fled to Igen. Or just went Between. Either way, he and his bronze were probably not going to be around anymore.
It was no longer Cecelia’s problem.
Finally, she and Uriangth could get some peace and quiet. She managed to contact Bree and Damascus after the war was over, and invited them to come to Fort. However, both Bree and Damascus were planning on going to High Reaches if only to make sure Justav was either repentant or just gone. Cecelia could not begrudge their choices, and still keeps in contact with them both to this day.
